Hi all, I just purchased a contour canopy (with windows) for my Gladiator. Should be installed by the end of the month.
I was looking at some of the accessories, primarily the cupboards and kitchen stuff, along with the 270 Shadow Awning, and had a few questions that hopefully you all can help with. Thanks in advance for any tips/comments.
Something I noticed on the Molle Plate for the 1250 Cupboard is that it says it's not compatible with the Jeep Gladiator, but I don't see any mention of the 1250 Cupboard not being compatible.

- Can anybody confirm that the 1250mm cupboard fits in the Gladiator bed or I'd have to size down to the 750mm cupboard?
- If the 1250mm cupboard is installed, are there any air gaps to the rest of the bed? I'll be traveling with two dogs/Ruffland crates (one XL and one Medium) and would like to keep at least the cab window and one or two of the side windows open. So I'm just curious if there is an airgap that'd make it worthwhile to keep the cupboard side window open or it'd serve no purpose.
- Does anybody have opinions on preference of the Contour Canopy Kitchen Table vs Side Slide Prep Table? I like that at least the built-in table has a place to store and extra width with the bamboo instead of me having to keep the side slide prep table inside the cab somewhere.
- I have a pretty nice roll-top table from REI, but was interested in the similar dimensioned ALU Table and the available canopy table bracket just for the ease of deployment/foldout legs. Anybody have this and have issues with storage/usage?
- I know the Shadow 270 Awning is pricey, but I love the ability to just quickly fold it out and not have to deal with any legs or tie downs or whatnot (it was a pain with my old Roofnest awning/RTT). I figure I'll get a lot more usage out of it and seems like everybody praises its strength and quality. Is there anybody that absolutely hates it?
- I have the 4 tie down rail bed cleats that came with my Jeep. Once the canopy is installed, it seems like I will have very limited usage of these (either fixed between the mounting clamps of the canopy or on the cab side bed rails). Is there some alternative or something I can do to these cleats to remove/relocate them without having to slide them to the cab side of the bed rails? I will be needing tie down points in the bed (ideally more than the 4 at the base) to help with securing the dog crates.
