Installed new mirrors today. Been driving for ~2 weeks without side views. I wasn’t going to drive through Boston today w/out them. Not the best picture. Pic wasn’t taken for this thread. Got them on Amazon. They are very nice with a large viewing area. They didn’t vibrate or move after I set them. Extremely happy with the purchase. Picture was taken at Saquish Beach in Plymouth, MA. About a 6 mile road on gravel and sand.

On a side note I got caught in the rain and the display went crazy. Glitched out and kept switching functions. Anyone experience that? About to start searching the forum.

My TeraFlex Nomads wheels arrived only to see that Northridge is offering a free Falcon steering stabilizer if you buy five wheels. Yes, I sent TeraFlex an email but I am not holding my breathe. Ordered 35 11.5 17 Wildpeak AT4’s from @discounttires for the Mojave. Hoping everything gets mounted Tuesday or Wednesday. Still need to order the AEV 2 inch spacer lift and geometry correction bracket tomorrow.

They’ll likely honor it. They’re an amazing company for customer service.

Installed ARB 1250 4’x8’ awning on rear of RSI cap, temporary mounting as I want to make it quickly removable without tools. But all in all works good, going to start looking for sand tent stakes perhaps screw in for the beach. Used the ARB HD awning brackets, very well made….Jack

Looks great! www.rackattack.com. May have those type of fasteners your looking for on the quick release idea. Good luck.

Thanks Mike, I never seem to do anything easy, I want to toss the awning in back of Jeep, pull it out with a bracket with two keyhole slots and a push pin hole, so just set it on top of two carrage bolts , slid it back and put in pin. I carry surf rods on top of rack and don't think they will clear awning bag, and would rather have it inside out of weather and also not being a wind catcher on top either. I did check there though!.....Jack

im with you on the not easy part…Any OEM if your reading this, Please make Everything quick disconnect !! It’s as fundamental as Jeep itself. Lego Jeep division should sponsor manufactures to make each of their Jeep based products quick connectable. Duh.

your surf rods…noticed you have rack feet holders already mounted on the roof…task that rack OEM to come with a solution…or just go full parts catalog draw up what you want it do, send the pieces to me and I’ll cut them up and TIG them up for you.
