Hi All,

We had a great trip met some real great folks and had a blast. The temps did get to about 102 later in the day be we did start early. Here are a few photos to share.

I am really glad I bought a hitch slider from 41.22 as you can see from the photo. I also included a "battlefield" pickup from a TACO that had a tough time.

BTW we did earn another two Badges for Fins & Things & Hells Revenge. Already planning on going back, maybe for Easter Jeep Safari madness :)

P.S. The last pic is at Bonneville on the way home.

Very cool trip. I’m 5 weeks away from Moab with my JTOD and my wife’s JLU Willys. Our plan is Fins, Hells, Top of the world, poison spider, and hurrah pass/chicken corners. Might change the last one for onion creek, whichever is more scenic and relaxing.

Very Nice Enjoyed the pics.. Did MOAB last Nov. (2nd time in 3 years). Met Rory, Mike, Sean = Cool personable guys; helpful asked about 5 trails (in a rental Wrangler) that we could run and not have to CAll Them.. Gave excellent advise. Canyon Land is awesome as is Dead Horse.

Did not think I would do it. I had a good spotter.
After you do it once, you realize it’s not that hard. Just maintain momentum and don’t stop.

We did onion creek and for me it was the end of the trail was the best. The photos I shared of the ranch do not do it justice. It was about 6ish when I was there so it was perfect temp and beautiful lighting.

I did Moab last summer. Going to a desert in July was quite possibly the dumbest thing I’ve ever done.

Ask me if I’d do it again. Yes…yes I would!! 😂

Awesome pics!!
Even at the hottest part of the day waiting in the queue for Hells Gate was no problem. Definitely better than the Phoenix metro area this time of year. Maybe the altitude made the difference 🤔

Very true. Looking from the top down and the bottom up not to mention the entrance you think it looks hard. A good spotter was helpful and watching others do it so you get a sense of the line to take. There were a few that went to far driver and slid into the V and had trouble.

Awesome pics. Looking to hit Moab next fall. Probably will be on different trails as I will be solo and in a stock Mojave. Looking to just take in the scenery.
Onion creek and Long Canyon would be two trails you can do solo. I suggest you go out to Fins and Hells Revenge and see if you can join a group. That is what I did and is the reason I did hells gate. BTW my Jeep is stock except for the tires and wheels.
