Keep seeing them here that the peeps have, how does it work with tall peeps? I’m 6’1” so will I be banging my head off it all the time driving or getting in?

I'm 5'11 and have no problems. But if you have a long torso you might bounce your head off of one if you hit a hard bump.

I went with a rear molle setup. Just came in the mail yesterday, I have not installed it yet. With the freedom panels off I want complete open air so the front molle won’t work for me. I’ll likely install my cb back there and a couple of other things. I can still hear the cb mic since it’s right over the top of my head and I can reach straight up to key the mic. I should be installing it tomorrow with the bed side molle panels.

Sweet, I’ll try on one knowing that.
My head still brushes the sound bar. I'm looking at the Desert Does It seat slammers kit. If your in the same boat as me, I'll keep you posted on how it goes. Better work good tho. couple hundred bucks and i have to cut up my seat rails.

That hasn’t happened, I forget it’s even up there honestly, not used to it, hell I forget the door speakers are in the dash all the time too. Can’t chop seats though, the Colonel drives time to time, mainly when it’s something she doesn’t want in the back of her Highlander and she’s short. If not for that I’d prolly bring the seats down some.

Take a look at the Epic Outfitters new one that they brought out. I saw it at the PNW Show and bought one. I’m 6,3” and does not interfere at all

I'm 6'1" and I don't hit my head on the panel itself, Anything hanging off of the bottom on the other hand...

I talked to Desert does it and they said a 5ft person can still adjust the seat up to a driveable position. Won't know till i do it. I mainly am after it for my head height as well as altering the seat angle. We don't get a rock back adjustment and it kills my long ass legs cus there's no way to hold my thighs and duff properly. sucks ass for long drives. Every guy with a Mojave I've talked to that has it, say it feels like a real comfy bucketseat. Fingers crossed.

Same here, almost feel like could slide of the front but short of that definitely flat. Might try a dead pedal to help at least for one leg. Get used to until I spend some time in a ZJ and then have relearn it. If it can be adjusted up easy enough might be an idea, she doesn’t do complicated.

Already anticipated having to center things on it because of what you said, think I’m pushing my luck with the panel itself

At 6’2” I’m looking forward to seeing your experience with lowering the seat. Trying not to go there, but, if it truly helps………

I'm 6'2 and I don't come close to hitting mine. That's with my glock and cell phone hanging off it. I did do the seat slammers mod on the driver side though.

Been on errands today and paid more attention where my noodle is in there. Think I’ll be good.
