I wanted to post my experience with the powerbrake kit. For context I'm in a diesel on 40s, full skids, rear bumper w/ tire carrier, cap, drawer system, RTT. How much does my rig weigh...you don't wanna know.

In short, braking was noticeably worse than stock and under repeated heavy braking it was apparent that the stock brakes could not keep up.

I did a bunch of research and settled on Powerbrake.

It took a bit longer then expected to arrive due to shipping delays from overseas but Powerbrake kept me updated.

After the install prior to the break-in period (which is about 185 mi of mainly city driving prior to intense break-in procedure) I was initially a bit nervous as the brakes felt a bit spongy -- this gradually improved during the break-in period.

Post break-in and they are AMAZING. Very noticeable difference, just feels very confident, especially under more intense conditions which is where the difference becomes more noticeable.

Build quality is amazing, they have temp sensors on both the rotors & the calipers.

My only regret is that I didn't do this upgrade sooner.

I have been running them for over three years. I love them so much I have considered putting them on my wife’s two door JLR, but it would be a waste.

I am another fan of Powerbrake. I have been running the brake system for about 3.5 years now; honestly, it's one of the best upgrades I have done. My factory brakes just never felt right, even before I built the Jeep. Now the Jeep is heavy, and the brakes don't even care a bit.

I don’t have any experience with that brand but I have the lightweight 6 piston Wilwoods underneath my diesel and they are phenomenal. I can tip toe down a 50* rockface while still in 4 low and fully lock up 42s from 75 mph.
It definitely stops better than the jeep did on stock all season 32s. Expensive for sure but a top 3 upgrade for me

Any fitment issues with them rims? I'm running 17 inch rims. I guess I would have to do some research here.

I used there templet and won't fit a stock wheel. They fit 17s but it needs to have the backspacing for it.

I,m a big fan of Powerbrake. I've been running them on all my Jeeps for the last several years. Never disappointed with thier performance.

I started off with thier pads as a upgrade to the stock pads. One of my JKs always had brake fade from factory. Slapped a pair of Powerbrake pads on and problem was go.
