Finally, are you getting used to your new seats color? 🤣

The color is growing on me. The power sears are a nice upgrade over the seats in sport s I had.
I haven't seen the power seats yet, the few times I've stopped by the dealer, they don't have any.
Is the passenger seat power also, and what all is adjustable on both?
Thanks.

Congratulations on the new ride.

Congratulations on the new ride.
The passenger side is also a power seat.
No memory seat option with the power seats.
Huge miss by Stellantis.
Introduction literature for the 2024 from Stellantis indicates
that a memory function was supposed to be included
with the power seats, but it was never implemented.

"The new Gladiator’s Uconnect 5 system offers more connected services and features for unmatched ease of use.
The suite of system highlights includes:
12.3-inch digital touchscreen (new)
Jeep Adventure Guides featuring Trails Offroad (new)
Five user profiles plus a valet mode – customizable music preferences, apps, seat position, mirror angles
and climate comfort levels (new)"

Congratulations - looks fantastic.

And on the seats topic...I don't understand why power seats are such a big deal to people. Seriously, how often do you adjust your seat? I've had my Gladiator for six months now and I've adjusted it once - the day I got it. My daily driver Cadillac with five million seat settings hasn't been adjusted in probably seven years. I wonder if the motors even still work.

Share a vehicle with a shorter person who has a handicap and can't operate that stupid almost on the floor front bar that lets you move the seat and you'll find out why.
She has to have me move the seat all the way forward for her, and she drives with the seat back straight up - I can't even get in a vehicle after she's driven it. And if I take her JLU out and move the seat almost all the way back, and lean the seat back a notch or two, I have to put it all back after I get out.
Power seats would allow us to more easily swap vehicles when necessary and allow her to operate the seat functions without assist.

People tend to think of their own age, own health, and their own little world where no one has any handicaps.

The biggest negative and reason she was against getting a JLU for herself to begin with was the very limited and very difficult to move seats. Even I have to lean clear forward, reach almost to my limits to reach that bar, then while leaning forward, try to bump the seat back or forward. It's easier to get out and move the seats fore or aft, than to do it while seated.
Also nice when stopping during a 24 hour drive at a rest area to easily move the seats back, lean them back, and take a nap. (we drive pretty much non-stop on our trips to Sarasota and back, with a couple hours sleep at a rest area)
I also had to change the seat a bit after 2 1/2 hours worth of gall bladder surgery earlier this year....... so there can be reasons some just don't bother to think about.

Happy for you that you never have had to move the seats or that you find them so very simple to move.
