I have no intention of lifting my JT. I am installing a winch though on the steel bumper as I drive mine into downtown park garages.

Who leveled theirs stock JT after winch install and what did y'all use?

Either with diesel specific coils up front, which you will want them taller than stock, or with spacer pucks.

1/2" Teraflex spacer pucks would do.

Best bet, take measurements now without the extra weight, then install winch and remeasure. That will tell you how much to get back to where you were, and how much you need to get level.

Clayton makes a specific to diesel HD front spring, it’s advertised as 1.5” lift but since you have the diesel and added weight it should be just enough to level it out. It also helps with the bottoming out of the front end issue with these diesels.

He will get 1" of lift with those springs. Add the winch. He might get around 1/2".

That should be enough to “level” right ?
No, JT's come with a factory rake, they average 1-1/4" to 1-1/2" lower in the front.
When you add a winch to the front, you lower the front around another 1".

These numbers vary because coil springs are not an exact science, they have a range.
