Wonder if those Badland winches are built well. May think about one, but the obvious choice would be a WARN.
Well not sure if you watch Matt's Off-road Recovery on YouTube.......but that all they have for winches and they use them daily. Bottomline, a safe bet/investment.

I would have gone with one, but caught my Warm EVO VR10 on a stupid sale.

Having just picked up a Rubicon JT, the first thing I did was transfer my seat jackers over to the new one. I then did a screen protector for the infotainment system, bullet point phone mount, OEM rubber floor liners, and then 813 Designs dead pedal. Looking to do PRP seat covers next.

Or if you want to watch someone who isn't a walking clown show, Rory Irish in Moab uses Badland winches on all his trucks except Big-D (that truck has hydraulic winches)

I had dual first mods.
Winch because every Jeep needs a winch in my humble opinion.
Tazer for multiple reasons. Start/stop memory setting, tire size adjustment and fog light drop out were at top of list. It also saved my favorite vacation by being able to clear codes after a limp mode incident where the Jeep wanted to "See Dealer" on a Sunday. Cleared code and finished trip.

For everyone that said they installed seat jackers: I am 6'5" and am worried that increasing the height of the seat will put my head too close to the ceiling. I currently lower my seat down and put it all the way back.(Slide not recline) Anyone have any trouble like that?
Not saying it’s trouble, but, at 6’2” I wish the was more room period. Head room and leg room. That said, I’m not ready to drop $90k on a full sized truck, that will get pinstriped to hell, first time off road

Just traded up to a new ‘24 Mojave and the dealer is putting on 35’s for my first mod. I will be putting in trail rails to reattach my softopper and Datin Fab rack from the trade in ‘21 Mojave. Then a bedrug bedliner for my old ass knees 🤣. Then the bulletpoint phone holder

Im looking to go to 35's also as soon as the factory ones wear down more. What specific size did you go with? Im looking at the Nitto trail grapplers in 35x11.50 r17 to keep the stock width on stock wheels.
The Nitto Ridge Grapplers in 35" x 12.50" x 17" fit fine on a Rubicon on the stock wheels. Many here run them. I've been running that setup for over 15K miles now with no issues. You do need a Tazer right away to recalibrate the ECU and speedometer.

The stock wheels are +44 offset right?

You lose about 5-6 inches of bed space with that roll and lock right? Due to the canister?

You loose bed space at the top, there is still space under the cannister. Otherwise it is well made and pretty water tight as well as dust tight since I put a seal around the tailgate.

What did you use as a seal between tailgate and bed?

When I picked up the cover at Trucksmart, I also picked up a product called Truxseal which is sold as a universal tailgate sealer. The product is marketed by Truck Hero. It is an oversized weather stripping.
