Good morning,
I am about to start a build on my 2023 Gladiator eco diesel.
It's a full build. 4.5" Teraflex long arm, Tera 60s, ARB lockers, Nitto 40s etc.
Im wondering if anyone has any input on the gearing I'll want to order in my axles for this diesel build.
Thank you in advance!

You are right in the middle, 4.56s or 4.88s. Use case might help us here. Are you planning any towing or carrying tons of extra weight? If yes, I think 4.88s is your answer.

A bed rack may be added at some point for basic gear. It will not be towing or carrying anything but the giant spare ;)
Where did you source this information?

There are a handful of gearing threads on here, and a couple diesel specific ones.
I think 37s on 3.73s are ok, but jumping to 38-39-40 is where you really need to regear. Feel free to plug in numbers here (http://www.grimmjeeper.com/gears.html), but I think 35's on 3.73s is the sweet spot for the diesel, so using those numbers, 4.56s gain you about 100rpms at all speeds. The 4.88s gain an additional ~150rpm across the board.

At 80 with 4.56s and something close to a true 40, you'll be a hair above 2000rpm.

I wouldn't run Teraflex suspension or axles. Too many bad expereinces and many other better options.

I've been running 38's for about a 1 1/2 years, and its "works", i very rarely see 8th gear, i did recently start towing a small 17' travel trailer, dry I beleive was about 3500, it definitely notices when i start going up any grades.
I have been going back and forth on this as well. I talked to several shops near me and the general consensis has been 4:56's would bring me closer to stock but to be more accurate would be to switch to a 40 when going to 4:56's. That would put me back at stock.
