Hey all, hoping to get some feedback from the community here.

I built a simple table to make it easier to compare all the popular portable 4x4 fridges: 4x4compare.com.au/portable-fridges

It lets you:
  • Filter by brand and configuration
  • Compare key specs side-by-side (price, capacity, dimensions, weight, power consumption, etc.)
  • View important details like compressor type, insulation, and warranty information
I wanted to share it in case others find it useful but also to hopefully get some feedback or suggestions for improvement. Any features that you think would make this more useful?

Also, note it is focussed on the Australian market but I'd be happy to make a USA version if it proves popular.

It's been a fun little project so keen to continue with it! Thanks for checking it out.

Thanks for putting this together, I could not find where you listed power consumption. How long it will last on a 100 amp/hr battery is a very important consideration. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply! I did originally have power usage listed in the table, but it ended up causing so much confusion that I removed it. I think without controlled testing of all models it's going to be difficult to get like-for-like numbers. Or do you think including the manufacturer's stated power usage would be useful?

being able to filter by size would be great as well.
Thanks for the suggestion. You currently can sort by capacity by clicking the arrows in the column heading. Do you think adding a few size ranges would be helpful as a filter option as well?

Yes, the manufacturers quoted power consumption numbers would be good to know to ensure one has enough power to run it for camping, ect.

The factory power numbers would be nice, and I agree it is confusing as they use watts, amps, amp hours , so a person has to do conversions to compare like for like. I have an ARB and the power consumption and low volt shutoff were important to me. Nice work though!......Jack
