I know some here have been wanting a JT diesel and for what it's worth, my local dealer here (Miami Lakes CDRJ) has two new ones listed on their website; a black one (54k MSRP) for 48k and a gray one (54k MSRP) for 52k. Both are new '23's. If interested, check out their website.

I've got a '21 Overland Diesel, fully loaded except for the forward trail cam. Even have leather
interior and I didn't give that much for either one of those. 40,000 trouble free miles, bought new in July if 2021. IMHO, way too much for a 2 year old vehicle. Somebody might give that for them tho.

Why do dealerships suck so bad at photos and providing information? I've seen 10 year olds take better photos.

Diesel or not those prices are kind of high for sport models. Now if they were Overland or Rubis then it'd make more sense.

What a crap deal ... I walked out with a 2023 Farout (loaded Rubicon ecodiesel) with a 76k MSRP, out the door for $55k (Tax, title and registration). I think it was about $50k before TTL.

If one has to have a diesel JT, there's not many new ones left. Thanks for the post OP.

Tale as old as time, song as old as rhyme: dealer eschewing massive rebates in order to hold inventory until final payout and then try to sell the units to fools at higher prices by claiming the rebates are gone so they have no choice... and the beast

I'd like to see if they'd ship it to my cdjr. Although I'd have to get at least 8% off invoice. Like I did my 21'
I reached out. Lets see what they say.

I wasn't implying when starting the thread that this, TO ME, is a good deal since I really had no interest in purchasing a diesel (I could have had one for about 40k last year when dealers had 2023 Gladiators coming out of their collective butts).

I was just mentioning that since supply is so limited, there are still a few around, and the two I mentioned just happen to be at my local dealership. Whether or not it is a good deal is strictly up to the potential purchaser. But comparing the cost to something that is not being made anymore to something that was readily available at one time doesn't make much sense to me. I think we are trying to compare apples to oranges. Anyway, I'm sure they will be sold to people who feel that they must have a diesel and prefer new rather than used.

Kids, the OP posted brand new DIESEL JTs. You can't get them NEW anymore. These last few are it. Possibly forever.

I am not saying with the Stellantis hiccup and cost cutting of a diesel vs 3.6 gas JT is a good deal. I am saying that these JTs are diesels. And will someday be nearly priceless.

Ever look up the price of a 1970's or 1980's DIESEL Land Cruiser?

I personally am not interested; I have had too many late model diesel trucks that were CARB over- sensored to the point of it being ridiculous. But If i had to have an awesome diesel JT. I would buy now and not sweat the price.

Edit: Maybe the new administration will bring common sense back to diesel regulations instead of following the GW religion. Then diesels will come back as they should unregulated and life will resume as common sense and normal.
