Pulled trigger on new 37's. Discount Tire price matching

Wasn't quite ready for new tires as I have about 6K+ miles or so left on the 35" Grabber ATX's but I wanted to get the 37's for my trip back to my stomping grounds in the UP at the end of May for the 50th anniversary of the MTU Fourwheeler group.

I came across the Mopar website where they are offering buy 3 get 1 for $1 and decided to price out a set of 37x12.50R17 BFG AT KO2's.
That turned out to be $1823.30 OTD. Deal ends April 30th.

Decided to head down to my local Discount tire to see if they would match as their website price was $2249.65. Not only did they price match it, they beat it by a few bucks and then took another 5% off. Walked out for $1951.26 included the lifetime certificates

They will be here Monday and have an appt on Wednesday for the install.

Still wish Grabber made the ATX's in a 37 but they still don't have a manufacturing date for them. Have never run BFG AT's so will be an interesting comparison between them and the Generals.

Picked up a tazer to adjust the tire size as the Dealer did mine for the 35's.

I got my BF Goodrich KO2' 37's at Discount Tires for $1,739.59 with mounting and balanced on the 19 of this month out the door.

Yeah that’s seems a little high still, just did (4) 37x12.50 ridge grapplers on Friday. $1531.00 out the door but I mounted and balanced them myself.

Yeah had to jump on it, ordered 5 incase one didn’t balance and ended up sending it back. The worst one was 5 oz, i originally wanted the ko2s but the first tire wanted 22 oz. Fought with it a bit but couldn’t get it any better, so back they went.

Did you get C or D load range tires? If D, then that is a great deal especially if you got the lifetime certificates as well for that price.
Haven't found anything near that here in Michigan no matter what tire place I checked.

I was told those are C load range which I didn't want and are about $80 cheaper per tire then D's.

Yeah, they're the C rating the Raptors use. That's funny they are cheaper now, the C used to be $80 - $100 more than the D. The K02 D and E are too stiff for me.

My ATX's are E and so far so good on stiffness but I'm not a rock crawler at all. Sand and logging trails / hunting trails is what I do. Will be interested to see the difference in the D's on the KO2's vs the E's on the ATX's for our usage.

Very good price for sure. Its great that you have the ability to mount and balance yourself.
I was limited to basically 1 tire in a 37 with white letters due to my throwback build.
I like the fact if i ever have a issue or get a bad tire that won't balance, I can take it back to DT and its their problem to deal with. Not mine

I'm happy with the deal I got and hopefully these BFG's will be as solid as my 35 Grabber ATX's have been for over 50K+ miles.

I think you’ll be happy with them, I really liked them in the 35s just wanted to go bigger. Pretty sure they have a 50k mile warranty as well.

How does that OnX discount work? Can I sign up for Elite monthly and cancel before the second month and where would the code be retrieved from?
I've been thinking I'd need new tires this year and this a good deal with rims.
