Is that where the PW in your screen name came from? 😆
Yeah..........It's Rusty PW Nismo on Youtube. That is my nickname Rusty, Power Wagon, and my Nismo Nissan. here, I shorten it to Rusty PW.

Update - I received an update by email yesterday. For those experiencing this issue but have not opened a trouble ticket, I’ve included the pertinent details below for your situational awareness.

“Hello I am reaching out to keep you up to date with the current case status. There are no new updates on your case at this time, we are still working on the new coding and are awaiting further progress in the creation of the resolution. Thank you for being apart of the Jeep family and thank you for your patience in this endeavor.”

Two of these being 2024 models - I need to check out my 2025 as I've not tried the ORP on it yet - I've done everything via the cluster displays.

24 and later will be using different software than 2023 and prior (I'm sure that's an unneeded statement, everyone will know that)

Nope - every week I receive the same email as I quoted previously. This isn’t a big deal in the grand scheme of things but I have this issue with stuff that I own with features sold as benefits only to have them not work.

I got a call today from the UConnect person assigned to my case. He wanted me to know they isolated the problem with certain model years, and within given model years, those likely effected by the update. There is still no fix but they've narrowed the field and they are trying to see why all are not effected in the same way. The bottom line is the software update switched the function to off but don't know why, yet, how to switch it back on. Some progress anyway...

Having been in IT for a number of years - look at this tiny bit as a big gain.

I noticed my Offroad page took a long time to load in my 2023 when I manually switched to it.

Mine - 2025 X with fully loaded electronics) has been working fine but with the comments in the forums about various things, I've decided to keep trying different things, even stuff I don't use or would rarely use, so if there IS something goofy, I can catch it before a lot of time passes.

I've had issues with two OTA updates now with my 2024 JTRX.

If you are sure all the apps and 12 inch screen options you are supposed to have are there (off road pages, off road pages + trial, trail logs trial all seem to be problematic for some 2024+ Rubicons X and Mohave X owners). Then go through every possible screen and take cell phone pics. This way when an update occurs, you can tell what's different and what's missing. Pain in the butt to do, takes some time, but worth it if a pushed update messes up your screen. It will also help if the update blows away your settings, you'll be able to know quickly how you had stuff configured.

Don't forget about the radio reset where you push and hold the volume knob in until the screen goes blank, and then let it reboot. This usually fixes most of the wonkiness after an update, but things usually still are missing. One by one they should come back over the next 3 or 4 days. That's where the screen shots come in handy.

Make sure to capture screen shots of the system version information and the navigation version info.

I have a 2024 JTRX and the only problem I have is with the altimeter. After watching it on a road trip I wonder if it is a loose antenna?? It will read fine then a couple minutes later it is off. I was driving along the ocean and it was reading 140 feet then about a half mile or so it changed to around 30 feet. I think the 140 was more accurate.
I take it into the dealership again in a couple weeks. It will be my second time mentioning it. The first time they were at a loss. I’ll just take it in periodically until it gets resolved.

I received another call yesterday while out running errands in my Gladiator from the UConnect customer service rep for my case. He said the software engineers narrowed down the issue between two different software versions of Offroad+. They rolled out a fix for one of the two. He wanted to know if mine was fixed so I pulled over and checked. Nope, mine is still inop. He said they are still trying to fix the second and asked for my continued patience. Other than a brief ghosting at the beginning, he has been very good about updating me by email and phone. I appreciate it and told him so.
