That burp is a weird thing. I have a 2018 3.6/manual Wrangler, a 2021 3.6 E-torque/auto Wrangler, and my 2021 Gladiator with an auto and I´ve not experienced that burp in any of them.

If they are easing up the rpm range ,I can see how they feel this slight change over during slow deliberate acceleration. Mine is an auto and I dont experience this and my driving style is right straight up the scale I dont mess around and baby it either.

Same. The only change I feel is a kick in the pants at 4500 when on the pipe. I'm guessing the variable valve timing hits the second stage there. Love it!

The only one I would ever imagine you would experience it if ypu tried would be the 2018 but if ypu drive it like you stole it like I do then no you ain't going to.
The etorque never gonna feel it .
And Gladiator auto nope.

5 years 11 1/2 months in and I'm still addicted to my Gladiator Overland. It's still stone stock as it's also my tow vehicle. I tow a 27', 5,100 lb (with all we want or need) travel trailer. Ordered her 5/19, and got her 7/19. ZERO issues, mechanically, had to have the hard top replaced for a leak and the passenger door seal for same but, otherwise still very sound, mechanically. Yeah, I'm retired so it only has 39,xxx miles on her but, still, still on the factory batteries (main and the ESS battery).

First post after lurking for 6 months or so since I picked up my Mojave, figured it was time to share my progress. Can't say how helpful this forum is, I learned so much and avoid making mistakes and wasting money. Such a great resource, thanks to everyone!

-AWE Tread Dual Exhaust w/ swapped out dual tips - This ended up a bit louder than I wanted, but I do like the system a lot. Nice quality. I didn't like the size or the finish of their large single 5" tips, so I swapped them out for some aftermarket dual 3" tips in matte black. It helped tame the screaming a bit 😂

-18" x 9" Lock Krawler, bronze (-12 offset) with 35" x 12.5" Nitto Ridge Grapplers - Just put them on, love the look, and the ride really improved over the stock setup. Got the exact stance I was aiming for.

-Go Rhino RB20 Running Boards (Texture Black) - No complaints, they are great.

-Pedal Commander - Jury is still out on this. I like the better throttle response, but I need to disconnect to remember what it was like when stock. I'm getting a weird "burp" at around 2500 rpm's in 3rd and 4th with light throttle, not sure if that is the PC or something else.

Can't wait to see what's next. I gotta find some good trails, I'm located near Annapolis, MD so I probably need to head out to the Eastern Shore, or Western MD for some good options.

I think I saw an article on Wolf Den Run being added as a badge of honor trail, I'm sure there are tons of others. Looking forward to exploring.

Nice looking Anvil build. Are your Go Rhino RB20 running boards the 7.5” or 5.5” wide boards?

Thanks! Not sure there was a width option on these running boards, the Quadratec part# is 12112-0572 , textured black, no step.
