I’m going with one of the two bed mounts, I think and have been wondering how people run wiring back to the bed. I’m thinking 4 or 2 gauge so I can run backup/aux lighting eventually as well.

I'm assuming running it through the frame, but how do you get it up into the bed?

Do you already have the existing bed power outlet? Since I didn't, I ran mine along the frame on the passenger side, up into the rear fender well, and through the existing plastic panel where the bed power outlet resides. Took maybe 20 minutes. My new panel is 3D-printed and the 12v outlet I installed is not necessarily intended for compressor usage. But the wiring to that point could support it if needed.

Thanks! I’ve got the existing 115v outlet in the bed, I should look at the wiring for that and see if I can repurpose it, or splice it to run either the inverter or the air compresssor.

I had Car Toys run 2 G wire to the back of my Bed, I run a Twin ARB as well as an 8 port Auxbeam switch. Works really well. I have two 12 volt ports and a USB port, and voltage indicator. If I can find a pic I will add it.

Hey Lance, there is a good grounding location on the frame above the spare tire. That will save you running large wire all the way from the front of the truck. For +, I ran from the battery, add the fuses from the compressor by the battery. There is a hole behind the tie-down loop on the bed, I have ran a few wires through there. If you are getting the large enclosure, you can set up + / - busbars inside the enclosure to connect the compressor and other electrical for your needs.
