So, i think this forum could be really great. I think there is a lot of useful information here. I wish I could say I like it. This forum is so opinionated and chippy, it makes for a hard read. It would be great if we could all share information as adults. I really appreciate the moderators for creating it. Please calm down.

It's a discussion forum for a hobby vehicle, of course people are opinionated. It's very rare I read anything on here where people are being "chippy" or aggressive or demeaning? I'm not sure it's the people debating topics that need to calm down, but the overly sensitive who can't witness a discussion where people might disagree or have different opinions without getting emotional?

Depends on the subject. Some are like discussing religion or politics. Don't get involved in oil viscosity threads or differential gearing threads if you don't like opinionated posts and discussions that never come to a concensus or conclusion. But if you need help with something else, there are a lot of good people here who know their stuff. You can still learn a lot from the threads that go on and on with opinions and banter; you'll get a range of opinions and the logic behind them and can use all of it to come to your own conclusions.
