Will 1.5” wheel spacers work with factory steel wheels?
Sponsored
Correct. I put 1.5" spacers on my wife's JLU Willys because we both loved the look of the wheels but after I lifted it the 37s were rubbing on the LCAs. There was probably less than half an inch sticking out, but it was still sticking out. On a steel wheel that would definitely be a problem.no it wont. unless you cut your stock studs. stock studs are 2in I believe.
I see this is an older thread, but I have the same question with a follow up. If the answer is 'no', then what is thick enough? (1.75"?)Will 1.5” wheel spacers work with factory steel wheels?
I used the 1.75” spacers. I have had no issues with them.I see this is an older thread, but I have the same question with a follow up. If the answer is 'no', then what is thick enough? (1.75"?)
I have factory steel rims on this 2022 Gladiator Sport. What is the minimum thickness spacer allowed with factory steel rims? What did you get JeffreyDV?
1.75" is thick enough that you won't have to grind/ cut your studs. I have 1.75" on mine (but not oem wheels).I see this is an older thread, but I have the same question with a follow up. If the answer is 'no', then what is thick enough? (1.75"?)

I run 1.5” wheel spacers with stock BASE Mojave wheels and DID NOT cut the studs. I got them for the 255/85R17 Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/Ts, because I like NARROW, but wanted some “poke.”
