I have not seen the ULTRA Platinum at my local Walmart and over the last year the cheapest prices I have seen for the ultra Platinum have been on Amazon. I was at Walmart yesterday and they had the 0W-20 full synthetic Platnium for 25 for a 5QT jug

I buy Pennzoil Platinum, Mobil 1, or Castrol GTX. Pretty much just depends on what is in stock at WalMart when I go.

Except for my ole ladies van, or my moms car. I buy whatever is oil, including house brands for their stuff

The ones that charge shipping, charge everyone, prime or not. The ones that say free for prime members are also free for non prime members as long as you spend $25. Prime really only gets you free fast shipping since Amazon's shipping policy is free shipping for everyone over a certain amount, just not overnight or two day.

If you dig far enough, you'll often find someone with the same item, but it won't come up on a search page. You have to dig and find those other sources. Amazon makes it difficult, I suspect, because most will simply accept what comes up first in the searches.

Don't count on their overnight or two day, either - half of the things I get end up sayin arriving today........ then a few hours later - "arriving tomorrow".
If it's critical, don't assume what they say will happen. I waited 3 days for a lot of next day or 2 day items. I've had things come to the Bondurant depot, then go to MN, then back here again and I'm 25 minutes from Bondurant.

When asked if I want to join Prime, I ALWAYS choose NO.
With Prime, Yes means yes & NO also means yes.
Always check your statements in the months following an order.
