Nd force it into high valve lift and generate more heat? No thanks, let it rev like it's engineered to do!You bring up a valid point, but there’s a very easy, factory designed an engineered work around that works fine for me in my stock Gladiator. That’s to use the manual side of the shift, that will prevent constant downshifting. I can only imagine how that would work with a supercharger adding power at lower rpm’s. Not to the point of lugging at deep throttle positions no, because any more than 2/3rds to 3/4 throttle the computer will downshift as many gears as it’s told. That when stock really brings up the rpm’s! Can’t imagine what that would do with a supercharger adding pressure. But adding an extra 100 rwhp at half throttle would be a game changer. While not demanding too much.
I don't get this desire to force higher loads and lower rpm
Let er rip.
