Hello to all, and Happy Holidays. I have a 2025 Nighthawk which I have accesorized some, but mostly plan on keeeping stock wheels and suspension (for now) It drives extremely well on pavement and it is a daily driver. (275/55R20)
But I was just thinking about the stock bumpers which I understand contain a large amount of plastic and whether that impacts the front recovery hooks from having full tow strength in the event they are needed. We plan on traveling to Yosemite and Whisky Falls area North of Bass Lake next week and there is always a Subaru stuck that needs help. I routinely carry a recovery rope and shovel.
Do those hooks securely mount to metallic bumper surfaces connected to the frame rails?
