My record set this year 61 days with top/doors off. Shade net always on/front panels on when it get 90 +. Tube doors on when full doors are off.

Not often naked, top goes down as often as possible in the Spring through Fall, but it's usually closed when parked. Rear window is out unless it's raining

Hardtop goes on when the temps get cold, Soft top back on when it warms up.

Should have Sunrider in the poll.

I'm in a high crime area of New Yawk.

A top off, doors off, is an invitation for theft or seats slashed.

Even having a sunrider I'm concerned.

Tops only come off for upgrades on mine. I used to run nekkie for most of the year in my LJ, but haven’t had the inclination on the Gladiator. Maybe I’m getting old. :surprised:

During the summer I take the freedom panels and doors off. The full top doesn't come off because I have no where to store it.😩

I have no intent to remove anything. I purchased the Gladiator to replace my F350 flat tow vehicle and my 1967 Polaris RZR I used to ride the Colorado OHV trails. The Gladiator will provide a better environment vs. exposure to rain, sleet, dust, and mud in a RZR.

I frequently have the sunrider open. Like a lot. I love driving without doors, with soft doors, with tube doors, all of it. But I have yet to remove the hard top. It spent its first almost four years at a house where it wouldn’t fit in the garage, and the weather is too volatile to leave it naked. Plus animals would have moved in day one. So it’s on my list to do. Hopefully this summer it’ll spend a decent amount of time with it off.

Like a 1937 Packard LeBaron town car!
Still a great look.

Naked means no top and no doors.
Topless means no top but doors on.
No Doors means doors off but top on.
And unique to modern Wranglers and Gladiators,
Freedom Panels off but top and doors on.

Other variations such as
Freedom Panels only, top and doors off,
please elucidate in the reply,
(as if I could stop you).

As for me, I have had a '98 Wrangler in the garage
since 2014 that stays naked almost all the time.
A luxury because I also have a truck.

Regarding my Gladiator, the Freedom Panels
were removed once briefly
to view a solar eclipse
in the path of totality.

So I am wondering,
is the original attraction of Jeeps,
that feeling of freedom,
the wind in your hair,
the sun on your skin,
merely a fantasy,
a bygone dream.
I’ve always loved convertibles. I do think I’d like a full soft top someday. So it’s easy to go full convertible whenever I want. I love doing trails without front doors.

I disagree with the open top being the original attraction of Jeeps. For many of us it's always been the ability to go anywhere. The ability to run topless/door less still exists, but it's not why we own Jeeps. Between the dust, mud, snow, and 115⁰ plus weather that are all common in the desert and the fact that we always have our dogs with us the top and doors stay in place year round. The freedom panels come off on occasion but even if the Jeep had a steel top and non-removable doors we'd still own them for their capability..
