I have just over 119,000 on my 2020 Overland. It runs perfectly at this time, oil 'usage' is at 30% so I'm about to change it to Mobile 1 full synth, high mileage. I think I'm going to start changing it at 5K rather than when it says it is ready (like my dealer told me).

The service guy at the dealer yesterday told me the computer can tell what viscosity is in the engine.
Wow they really think us Jeep owners are stupid .

Not high mileage yet. But I'm running 5w40 and it really shined the last 2 weeks in Maine when the average temp was like 16*. Smooth and quiet start ups.
How many miles you got in that Beast @Minty JL

Getting ready to roll 38k this week. I've put on 4k since November which is a lot compared to my norm
Holy Crapola that's fantastic 👏 I dint know how your keeping it down like that. But I know you did that big Northern trip remember you talking about that awhile back in the fall, See any moose or Bear ? Was it sight seeing only or did ya hit a trail ?

I have three 3.6L engines to maintain. The two newest requires 0W-20 in which I use Penzoil Plat or Ultra Plat, which ever I find on sale. My high mileage 3.6L (150,000) from 2015 requires 5W-20. I have a bunch of Mobil One EP 5W-20 I bought on sale from Lowes when they had it on clearance.

First oil change coming on my new to me Gladiator @50k miles. What brand do you swear by? Im eyeing Amsoil SS 0w 20. I’m under extended powertrain warranty to 2028 So I don’t want to mess around. I want to see real world recs backed by the mileage proof.
yes I have been diagnosed With Oil Derangement Syndrome
I have used Penzoil Platinum full synthetic 0W20 for the past 50,000 miles as my prepaid dealership oil changes ended at 60,000 miles. Now at 110,000 and I have never owned a Jeep that hasn't gone well over a 100K. My 02 TJ has 186,000 presently.

Additive packages in oil will only stay mixed in the oil for about 5yrs. After than they tend to sink to the bottom of the jug/quart
