Dealt with enough influencer types over the years that I just don't care enough anymore to figure out the alleged few that are supposedly worthwhile. If I have to hear one more bitch-'n-moan session about YouTube algorithms or reimbursement it will be too soon.
I get that.

Great conversation with @Jeremy P. I’m glad we had the chance to talk it out and clear the air. Sounds like I and he both rubbed each other the wrong way on the trail that day. I apologize for anything I unintentionally did to piss him off. It certainly wasn’t my intent. And to be clear, now that I know who he was that day, he was not who I was describing in voicing my frustration about that day. I was already frustrated at others’ behavior, and he thought I was diminishing what he did to help that day. Both of us made mistakes that day. My hope is that we both learn from them and move forward.
It happens sometimes.

On my first trip to Moab we were on Poison Spider and were coming off a steep slick rock decent and my friend stopped ahead of me when he hit the flat to look at his map. I beeped my horn to get him to pull up so I wasn't standing on top of the brakes falling out the windshield behind him. I think I got on the radio and said hey man pull up so I can get off this hill. So he pulls up and I come down off the slope.

A little ways up the trail he stops in the middle of that sandy wash and gets out and walks back and says I've been being a smart ass all day and if I kept it up he was gonna get me out the Jeep and kick my ass.

I was a bit floored. So I said well I'm sorry, I'm not sure what I did to make you feel that way but I'll try....something different? He storms off and gets back in his Jeep. We didn't say anything the rest of the ride other than him spotting me in a couple places. It wasn't until after dinner we cooled the air. The next few days of the trip went fine though, and didn't have any issues on subsequent trips.

I can be a bit of a direct person sometimes. Folks thing I'm hard to read in person, I have a bit of RBF, and some would say I have autistic tendencies.

So all that's to say - sometimes tempers flare for some reason and it may not be readily apparent why, and sometimes its as simple as misreading each other in an exhaustive situation.

After our conversation, I think that’s what occurred. I was doing everything in my power to be nice to strangers, and yet they were pissed at me and wanted to escalate a conflict? It was a shit show. But at least I and Jeremy, I think have a better understanding of why it happened now.

Neither of them were hard on the trails, nor were they idiots. It If I had the privilege of wheeling for my job, it would be amazing. Good for them for having the personalities to pull it off. I’d encourage people to give them the benefit of the doubt before judging someone you haven’t met.
If you can get past their snarky online attitude and misleading junk for click bait they might be ok. But her online attitude leaves much to be desired. I have seen some of her responses on their videos and there's an attitude that had me leaving, never again to bother looking at their junk. There's a thread here somewhere about them and just that topic. They may be the type who say anything behind a keyboard and quite different in person

Happens with severe ADHD too. No filter.

Glad you guys got to talk it out, sounds like a great time ruined by alcohol and some idiots. Can’t wait to see the next version of WILDHOBO, also never thought I’d see the day where 37s were small. I remember when running 33’s on a XJ was crazy. Guess I’m showing my age. If you ever get to Central Pa I’d happily meet or ride with you. My junk is a just nice looking DD haha.

Wouldn't.
So you wouldn't do offroading on youtube or instagram for a living? You'd rather have a regular job? Weird but okay.

Or are you saying you wouldn't be a THOT? I think most dudes would if you could. If I was an attractive woman and dudes that have zero chance of hooking up with me would still throw money at me for being pretty I'd totally take that cash all day every day. But alas, we're dumb lumpy guys and no one wants to see us.
