Got absolutely everything I need. Morning poop coffee holder and a table for my breakfast. Might need a little more cushion.

Input and output in the same piece of gear with a cupholder!! Perfect for deep ruminations around a campfire. 🔥

How important is folded size for you? The chair-in-a-bag ones are smaller but I don’t find them comfortable.

I think these are the ones we use now, the side tables make dinner in camp much easier.

@Wolf Island Diver that's a great write up. Thanks. It really illustrates the importance of having specific gear for specific tasks rather than trying to find a one size fits all and compromise somewhere.

I'm kind of in a similar sitch. In my car I keep a knockoff of the Cliq. Takes zero space and comes in handy. The Jeep has the room so the rocker GCI lives in there.

I used the Front Runner folders for 10 days on an overland trip and though they are compact and lightweight, they are about the most uncomfortable damned things for anything but sitting at a table. Otherwise I'd rather stand. I feel the same way about the director-style chairs in general, I haven't found one I like.

The GCI rockers have done well through all-day music fests, camping and general tailgating, little league games, etc. They're bigger and heavier by far but they can handle it. Their folding beach chairs are perfect- lightweight and durable - https://gcioutdoor.com/collections/beach-chairs/products/backpack-beach-chair?variant=40841596928158

But for now I'm really thinking hard about a hitch mounted hammock hanger. I don't always have a tree to hook onto...
