Allegedly. I haven't known anyone who has done it. I've been told by inside sources that the issue is an overheated REA (rotary electric actuator). The worm gears become prematurely worn. I was also told that the only fix was a turbo swap because Stellantis doesn't sell the REA.
That's good info to know. Thanks for that.
Personally, I would have a new turbo installed, but I can understand why others might not want to.
Taking my Jeep to a dealership to have the cab pulled and the turbo swapped is quite possibly the most invasive thing they could possibly do to me, short of a colonoscopy. I'll do anything I can to avoid having to do that.

I'm towing my Escape 19 around 100 miles tomorrow in the middle of the day when temps are at their highest. We'll see how mine does.

I've been keeping track of the P00AF on the Ram forum. So far, that code has resulted in a warranty turbo replacement 100% of the time. Here's the list on the Ram forum. Everyone who has gotten a new turbo hasn't had the P00AF reoccur.

Josh Nolt, 2022 Ram - 20,000 miles
@Mzflorida, 2022 Ram - 20,500 miles
@EC0RAM, 2022 Ram - 33,000 miles
Rob Rusk, 2021 Ram - 34,000 miles
@ruskracing, 2021 Ram - 34,000 miles
@PapaTango, (08/21) 2021 Ram - 38,000 miles
@ecodiesel13, (08/21/21) 2021 Ram - 41,000 miles
@wolfie59, 2021 Ram - 41,000 miles
@Krigger, 2022 Ram - 45,000 miles
@c3k, 2021 Ram - 45,500 miles
@jeeplj8, 2021 Ram - 52,000 miles
@vet18b, 2021 Ram - 53,500 miles
@otinchon, 2022 Ram - 56,068 miles
@2020North, (11/19/19) 2020 Ram - 67,000 miles
@Keith Chrisco, 2020 Ram - 88,000 miles
@leseiD, 2021 Ram - 99,000 miles

great information.

You probably won't experience any issues until you hit some good hills.

You're racking up the miles! I bet the Carolinas will trip the P00AF code, especially if you take I-40 through North Carolina! The Old Fort Mountain grade stretches for 5+ miles at 6%!
