Why should that be surprising? A JLU Rubi can be $60k+ already..

Exactly, I agree completely there should be no surprise with that mid 60s statement. And that is before the diesel engine. The never ending price argument is so ridiculous. You literally will have 2 different forum members look at this window sticker and support completely opposite agreements with the same sticker.

member A: I told you a Rubi would be over 60k
member B: I told you a Rubi would start around 41k

Both are right. yet they are 20k dollars apart and can't understand why other one doesn't see their point of view. This has been playing out for months. Pretty funny.

Yep. The auto show vehicles aren't "starting at" vehicles. From the show photos, they look like they have most of the options on them (leather, preimum audio, LED, bed liner, cargo rails, etc.).

Markup on options is higher than on the base vehicle as well. Once the crazy dies down, or at one of the dealers that focuses on volume, the discount on that big sticker will be large compared to a bare bones Sport. Just look around at known high discounting dealers that list prices on JLs.

Ourisman near DC has a 19 Rubicon listed with 13% off MSRP. Apply that to a $65,000 Gladiator would be $56,550 before haggling (and fees and taxes of course, but including destination).

And that would be an "every option you could possibly slap on it" model. Most of us won't get ALL of them, so your actual sale price would be lower.

I just wish they'd release pricing so we could complain (or be happy) about reality instead of supposition.

I'm pretty sure she's talking about the one at the show it was a fully loaded jt.. Her exact words were expect somewhere in the mid sixties for this model
Was it the fully "moparized" Gladiator with the "decked" box in the back and tubed half doors?

wow that fuel economy is unexpected. Was always under the impression wranglers were gas guzzlers.

Hey Crableg85 is this underneath of one of those Gobi colored Gladiators you posted about? Just wondering since you said a full sized spare would not fit under a Gladiator and Jeep has made many statements that it was made to have full sized tires underneath.

Is the JL speaker bar that close? how do tall people go rock crawling with these things? Luckily i'm 5'7"
I learned to bend and duck wearing those ball caps with the metal dot on top. That was no headliner in a full-size truck, bounced up and put a divit in my noggin. Hurt like hell!
