I believe she was not accurate in her response. They are not the same.

I'm not sure that's correct, but I'm not sure. Look at Travis' post a few posts up.I just got off chat with FCA Customer Service. They specifically said BX and BG "are the same".
Crystal (4/11/2019, 10:30:26 AM): VON: 43614403 VIN: Not assigned yet
ORDERING CUSTOMER NAME: AARON xxxxxxxxx
Thank you for your patience and providing me with your information while I have found your vehicles status, at this time your status is currently in the same stage I would advise contacting back next week or two and we should have an update for you.
Me (4/11/2019, 10:30:44 AM): BX still?
Me (4/11/2019, 10:31:10 AM): I am just excited and impatient.
Crystal (4/11/2019, 10:31:16 AM): You are now in BG Status. (Which is the same)
Me (4/11/2019, 10:31:36 AM): No difference between BX and BG?
Crystal (4/11/2019, 10:32:06 AM): correct/

Travis,I just got off the phone with my regional FCA Rep. They are just beginning to perform checks & balances on the LE orders. He asked me for names of all those I placed an order for. It seems many dealers received duplicate leads on the same customer (ie: We received 3 leads for the same customer). What does this mean? The "sell out" of LE Gladiators may not have happened! All LE's we have ordered at my store have been moved to BX Status (Unscheduled- Good Order Available for Scheduling). I asked him about that & he stated as long as they have moved from BG (Bad order) or BA (Unscheduled- Pending Order) we are good to go so far. They (FCA) still need to make sure those that have been ordered match up to the LE Website hand raiser information (Name & email provided by the customer on the LE website).
Any additional information provided to us will be passed along.
Travis
So a bit of an update. I contacted FCA again and this time they told me it was BX and I asked them specifically if my name was on the order and what build priority it was. They told me my name was not on the order and it was priority 99. They recommended me to contact the dealer to have this fixed.
makes me angry. I guess it's a good thing at least I know what I am doing.
my dealer told meBG? I'm not sure that is a good status... this is what I think that means:
BG – order has passes edit but cannot be scheduled regardless of sold status
apparently, my order regressed back to BG. Not sure what’s up with that, it at any rate, I’m not going to worry. If something happens and I do not get a LE, I’ll just wait and order another, maybe a different color, ie hydro blue, gator, or maybe even punkn. Life’s too short, man.Travis,
Both chat customer support and voice customer support have confirmed that "BG" is not a "Bad Order". It is just FCA figuring out the process for the orders. Mine went from BX to BG, but FCA is telling me the order is still progressing and it is "normal"...
I did not order from the dealer the concierge forwarded me to, but I absolutely went through the pre-order site to reserve one. Hopefully that didn't confuse things.
Truly appreciating your insights though! Hope we don't "get on your nerves" asking all these questions!

This is what I told travis. If my order get's canceled, it's the universe telling me I need to wait for Sting Gray. So he can keep my deposit and I'll order a fully loaded rubicon when Sting Gray becomes available. Honestly, no loss.my dealer told me

That’s who I spoke to earlier. Told me that my Jeep is in BG, also.LATEST STATUS 4/11/2019 1:35pm EST

I really like granite, I have a granite JKURRecon, but, some of the colors are intriguing. This is what I told travis. If that’s the case, am I able to change dealers at this early stage? I’m not paying msrp.Just means your dealer will not discount the LE. Many of us have purchase agreements below invoice on the LE. Depends on dealer, their pricing structure, and volume. Most dealers should honor tread lightly or other FCA affiliate pricing (1% under invoice).
Too many unknowns to answer. My gut is you can't change dealers at this "late" stage. For the LE, all vehicles were suppose to be on contract 7 days after the launch date (4/4). That would have been yesterday. So I'm guessing any LEs not on contract by yesterday will be heading to dealer lots instead. If that’s the case, am I able to change dealers at this early stage? I’m not paying msrp.
