That is true - my dealer here at Ourisman Clarksville, MD told me that I am the only one who got a discount on the LE and they had placed 4 orders. (The rest of them were paying MSRP) I basically haggled with him mentioning the prices from this forum LOL and the TL FCA affiliate pricing... tbh, I am not really anxious for the truck, it comes when it comes. In the mean time, I am preparing on making a list of mods and other things I can take care ofThis was absolutely no different than any other custom order, other than you had only one configuration to pick from and the only option you had was color. If you wanted to place a custom order today (now that order banks are open), you can pick your dealer, pick your options (obviously many more options available now), and that JT will be built for you and only you. The pricing is strictly between you and the dealer when you place the order. No bidding war.
@Adawg1203 stated the price was in print. The price is whatever you negotiated with your dealer. Many folks didn't question LE pricing and are probably paying full MSRP. Many of us on this forum selected dealers that were 5% under invoice/~11% under MSRP. Again, that was a function of choosing the right dealer and had zero to do with Jeep concierge service.
The concierge service didn't add any value to that ordering process, other than to read from a script and try to connect you to a dealer. They had zero information on ordering timeframes and referred all my questions to my dealer. I had 3 entries in the on-line system (2 by me to change color, one by my dealer while I was on the phone with him) on 4/3. On 4/4 at 7AM I got the concierge call and they "tried" to connect me to my dealer (both of the initial calls before the dealer was even opened) by putting me on endless hold. My dealer called me independent of the Jeep concierge service when he arrived in the morning.
