But no need to regear with 35's right?
Personally I would not worry about it. I plan on 35's and keeping the 4.11s (or whatever they do for the EcoDiesel)

On my JK, I went to 4.56s when I went to 35's, she turned about 2900 rpm @ 70mph. Wished I would have gone with 4.11s instead. Although, made for some serious fun at stoplights as I could take quite a few cars up to 45-50 mph (With TD2 on 93 Tune also)

Your are so right.. I had 4.56 on jk with 35’s and it launched like a drag car .

Have 4.10 now with 35’s and only complaint is on highway in headwind it struggles a bit shifting down and up going 78 mph

Same thing here on my JK. The shop convinced me I needed 4.56 and it was too low. Should have gone with 4.10 or 4.30 at the lowest.

I think this question ties into this thread well enough. A 2" Mopar lift allows 35s or even 37s. Are you all buying 4 or 5 larger tires for the Gladiator? 5 were standard on Wranglers since the spare was on display. 4 does just fine appearance-wise on the Gladiator.

35s fit between the frame rails fully inflated. 37s reportedly fit between the frame rails with a little air let out. So, fitting a 35 or 37 shouldn't be the issue. I have Discount Tire run a 5 tire rotation on my Wrangler every 4k miles. Will they rotate 5 tires even when one is tucked under the truck?

So, what are all of you doing ... 4 or 5 purchased (what size) ... and 4 or 5 rotated?
Going 5 all the same, tires and wheels... provided the air down tuck method works. I'd like to do 5 tire rotation.

I have the exact same experience. The 4:56 ratio was great at slow speeds and wheeling. But the highway was like driving a sporty tractor.
I had 35s and knew that if I did it again I would have gone with 4:10.

My tires poke out about 2 inches . Personally I think it looks cool.

37k miles and all looks good

I did 20x10 with -24 on my jk

I’m doing 20x10 with -18 which appears to be 5mm more out than Compared to mopar spreadsheet posted here on JT. Calculations show me it’s a 4.79 backspace on 10 inch wheel

Both have nitto ridge grapplers

Been watching these with lifts and wheels and tires. I’m concerned a 37 will rub if disconnected . I went with 35’s.

We just had the 2” mopar lift installed on our overland. I feel like it actually handles better driving down the road, that being said, I was hoping it would also have a leveled look, it dosnt, still rakes to the front about the same as it did stock. Does anyone know if I can now add a leveling kit with the complete mopar lift kit, without screwing up the drivability but getting front level with back?

Hey Fordfreak did you have to use wheel spacers with whatever size tires you have there ? Looks good shouldn’t compromise towing

What would you gear with 37's?

Got my lift 2” Mopar lift installed today. 35x12.50 with 20x9.5 wheels. Installing bumper and winch tomorrow and with any luck, a soft tri-fold tonneau if Mopar ships it soon.

Third times a charm. Can you give me an overall vehicle height with the 2" mopar lift w/ 35" wheels? I'm thinking about this set up, or maybe 37" tires, but I need to make sure she still fits in the garage. Thanks.

I'll try somewhat:
JT Rubicon is supposed to be 76.1" (on OEM 33s)
+1" for 35s
+2" for MOPAR lift (some are saying 2.5" real world)
+1" for 37s (from 35)

I come up with 80.1", so let's say 81" to give a fudge factor for the Lift, for a JT Rubi w/MOPAR and 37s.
81"= 6'9"
So, it should clear my 7' door, or it will after the first running start...

Thanks for the quick math, I did that too, but like you said, sometimes a lift or tires are not quite their advertised height. I was meaning, could you take a tape measure and give me a actual height of the vehicle as it sits?

BTW, if any of you are looking for lift costs as I am, here is some info on the Mopar lift. While I impatiently wait for my Gladi to be ordered, I called my dealership for the cost of the Mopar lift with labor included, figuring there is always a cut off point for me in this world as far as time vs. money goes and I think the cost of the Mopar lift, with install has hit that point. The dealer said $1495 for the Mopar 2" Gladi lift and $1000 to install it. Soooo, I think I'll gladly take that $1000 and put it toward other accessories than in their already overstuffed pockets. Has anyone spent more/less for their 2" lift? What kinda lift was it and did it include alignment?
