Any Rubicons move past D status? Any in D1? Just moved back into D today.

Still D1. The only thing different on chat this time was they said it takes 8-12 weeks from when you order the vehicle and take delivery.

Checked in out of curiosity and am still in D1, which was expected.

But the chat was interesting. Note the timestamps:

Even assuming she is cut and pasting, which it's safe to assume is common practice, there is no way that she replied in two seconds unless she knew what question was coming. Which implies that there's some tracking on their end that alerted them to the fact that the last time I inquired I was looking for order status.

Not a real surprise in this day and age, but worth noting.

Went on Jeep chat to check my status which has been moving along fairly well. The said today I was in "JB" Friday I was in "I". The gave the typical answer it was having additional equipment installed.

So I asked what would be installed at this point and she said Uconnect. I have the base radio with the 5" display and Uconnect 3. I thought that would be installed on the line alone with the rest of the dash components.

Only thing I can think of is possibly a software update.

You really have to search through the Jeep site to find the chat line. I just had an interesting chat with them. Was told that no manual transmission models have been built yet, that it’s delayed until at least one more month. And yes I know that some here have info that their manual transmission trucks have been built and are about to get on a truck any day now.

Was also told that no base Sport models will be built and shipped to a dealership unless a dealership orders a base Sport model(not the Sport S).

My case was also “escalated” mid week, last week. I still haven’t heard anything - and when I contacted Jeep Chat again yesterday there was no record of the escalation and I was told the truck was in D status - after being told last week it was D1.

New hope is @Thorn-Engineering - finally someone on the inside.

@AlwaysRecord - I had them "escalate" my build... got a case number... but I found out that the case was closed (Jeep Chat had nothing listed so a second inquiry to JeepCares confirmed this) as my build is within expected time parameters.

So Day 42 in D.

I'm seeing folks who got their trucks shipped before they ever saw a window sticker, I got a build sheet, after my truck was built and in JS status.

Don't put a lot of time or faith into the Jeep chat status, also I've yet to hear of any escalated case result In anything but frustration. At best you get a more accurate status as to where you are at in the process, but you may never get to "why" or an accurate date. The pizza tracker is not very helpful.

My dealer seems to be able to get more accurate status, so I check in with him once a week or so.

At least we know MT are flowing at this point. Hang in there folks!

Can you share your build sheet?

Mine is a black sport S manual with freedom hard top. Tow package, auxiliary switch group, spray in liner and that’s it. Pretty basic, but my dealer said that the liner isn’t what is holding orders up. They could be wrong, but I’m assuming it’s about FCA early profits of more expensive units.
