I've been happy but maybe I do not know any better. I drove a manual 2000 TJ for 14 years, that is the only comparison I have. Been driving a 2014 Pilot since then and have been wanting to get back to a manual. I test drove a manual JL prior to ordering and was blown away by how much smoother it was than the TJ. I've only been driving the Gladiator around town and have been very impressed. Am not taking it on the interstate until I clear 500 miles. Reverse is very simple with the collar lift. I turn off the ESS the second I start the car, otherwise, I felt like I was stalling. ESS is honestly pretty straight forward, but I have been getting 20mpg without it, and that's with about 50% of my miles in the mountains so far.
Sounds great, 20 mpgs is impressive. Thanks for the report.

I'm right around 400 miles so far and just slipped to around 19.8mpg. About 375 of those miles have been with the top in the sunrider position. I assume that's not helping the mpg. I also haven't driven it on the interstate yet, although most of the roads around here are 55mph. I figure once I break it in past 500 miles, my mpg will decline as our interstates are posted at 75mph and I drive my Pilot around 85-90mph. I average 19mpg with my Pilot … I'd be thrilled to maintain that with the Gladiator but am not counting on it. My old 4-cylinder TJ used to get around 12-14mpg.

I was in D1 status for my manual Sport S and am now busted back down to D. Someone kill me pls.

Who said you moved down? Dealer or chat? While I was D1 chat would give me a status details without giving me the code and would sound more like D than D1. Though my dealer seems to be pretty good at feeding me information. He was just as excited as I was when I ordered. Jeep chat seems to be giving out what ever the easiest response is at the time. If you can get the status code from them I'd listen to that but take everything they say with a healthy load of salt.

I don't even want to imagine that happening!

I appreciate everyone's involvement in this thread as it has a calming effect on me to know there are others in the same boat. To help us all better understand where we are at and what was ordered, please add a description of what you have ordered AND updates to build status with dates to your signature. Thanks!
Updated. You're right, hearing how it's going for everyone is therapeutic.

Anybody else constantly check Jeep chat, the tracker and cryptostickers.net at least 3 or 4 times a day? It’s scary how many times I check my email and the tracker for updates

Not that I've/we've seen as a group. A few sports and one (1) overland. It's been slim to say the least!

I just checked the local inventory and they have a MT rubicon on the lot. Crystal granite.

I check every day. I've been checking FCA Chat Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. But i'm checking cryptosticker every day. This has been a great community to be a part of while we all wait. Got rid of my 97 TJ in preparation of this Gladiator and I've missed my Jeep brotherhood on the road for the past 2 months. So it's been nice to have this group during the wait.

I don't trust generic inventory websites. I'd want to see actual pics of it or it in person. More than once I've had a website tell me there was a M/T when in fact it was an automatic. Still, its some form of hope!
