I just picked mine up yesterday. Travis was gracious enough to come in on his day off to get me in my Gladiator. I can not say enough about Travis and his team, they took great care of me! I ordered 4/29. He quoted me a trade in value for my JL and locked me into the 7%. Everything was just as he promised when I picked it up. I highly recommend ordering from Travis.

That's a long wait! How was his communication with you? I've been hit or miss: ordered 5/14, only inquired about three times about the progress but he hasn't gotten back to me the third time which was about a week ago - asking if he does MOPAR lifts, and accessories I'm interested in at the dealership. It's no biggy but I've also been PMd on these boards asking why he isn't getting back to them (from people in the same region as me asking if he's worth going to).

Travis has been great for me.... best way to get him is by email... Keep in mind the man has over 100 JT's he's tracking in addition to thousands of inquiries and regular customers and just got back from vacations. I limit my queries to him (won't make the JT get here sooner anyway) and he'll let me know when it's time to for delivery (soon, very soon!) the real question is do we Floridians want to save thousands or get ripped off by our "neighbors"..... the dealership is small and Travis said they weren't doing many modifications.... my 2 cents is that it's better to get those done close to home so if you run into an issue, you can resolve it locally. Florida has many good 4x4 shops....

I have been doing the same: 3 inquiries in over 2 months isn't much: I'm not unhappy by any stretch of the imagination, and I am patient. But rolling a MOPAR kit into financing is easier than forking over 2k cash that could be on the down payment. Again, not to bash or anything I am happy but was just curious how his communication has been with others. I do realize how many orders he's got which is why I try not to email him - instead go through the Jeep Chat (Who i can tell is over the Gladiator community when it comes to order tracking! heh). I think I'm just going to do a level by myself and put tires on at this point. I am very much looking forward to getting the truck and all I've read is how fantastic the dealership is when it comes to delivery time.

You're taking the same approach I did! When i talked with Travis about "extras", he can order them (and probably have someone install) as long as it's paid up front... makes sense to me.... I do most of my own work anyway so not a big issue for me about aftermarket stuff....plus I can usially get better prices looking aroulnd....

Tip: Jeep Chat may not be so accurate.... The tracker is a better link to the FCA information, just doesn't give you statuses...

Any missed communications can seem frustrating but considering what Travis is juggling, a few here and there can be expected as he is still human. In addition to juggling all the JT orders, he also juggles a crap ton of JL orders from the various JL forums. Also, he is the sale manager there and still works the daily business of running that and managing a sales force.

My communication with a Travis was spot on. Every time I emailed him I got a response within two hours. Weather it was my quote, questions, or a follow up. To put in perspective, I emailed another dealership for a quote when I emailed Travis, and still have not heard one thing back. It’s been over a month. Travis is a busy guy, and if it’s something urgent you need, maybe email him with the title “urgent”. I hear he just got back from vacation.

I do agree with wanting the lift kit added into the loan, I was thinking of doing the same thing. But, I live in Las Vegas and didn’t want them to install it in case there were any issues, it would be expensive to get the truck back there, and talk about time consuming.

@Travis@TriCityJeep is the best there is! I’m not going to buy my Jeep from anyone but him.

I ordered from him as well, really didn't bother him until I hit KZ status, generally is pretty responsive but I only have emailed a few times for updates. Last I heard it was in Winston-Salem Monday, haven't heard an update since then but would assume it should be delivered tomorrow if it wasn't yesterday, anyone have experience on that time frame?
He is installing the Mopar lift and ordered 35" KO2s for me as well to go on factory wheels, asked me about wheels - assume I could have ordered or had some sent to him if I wanted.

Ordered from Travis. Having wheels shipped and put on by Travis. He’s been great to communicate and also has ordered a Ram truck for a client of mine. So he is a very busy guy indeed. If you don’t hear from him I would recommend reaching out again as I have never been any length of time without a response unless it was his day off or he was on vacation.

Ordered through Travis and worked with Jeff to finalize the purchase. Ordered 5/7 and ready for pickup 7/13. Great purchase experience. But now it's sitting in the driveway waiting for plates because Mass chooses to not recognize temporary tags

Travis has been solid. He fixed a mistake on order that had the wrong interior. Which means he has a SG Rubicon coming without a buyer.

Dealers really don't have any more information than we can get from the suspect SHAT, I mean CHAT, once the order is placed. We just have to wait it out. And wait. And wait And wait.

They do have a little more info - Once an estimated ship date is assigned they can see it and Jeep Chat can't. And after KZ they have more detail about where the Jeep is than Jeep Chat. So it is worth one call when you hit D1 and another about a week after KZ.

It's no biggy but I've also been PMd on these boards asking why he isn't getting back to them (from people in the same region as me asking if he's worth going to).
I emailed with him several times and he always responded. They do put Mopar lifts on at their shop. I couldn’t find anyone in my area that would even come close to his pricing, so it was worth the drive down there. I left at 0230 and made it back at 2000. It was a long day but well worth it.
