I'm curious what this really adds to performance. The specs state a gain of 12 HP @ 5700 RPM. IMO that's a tiny HP increase at high RPM's. How do to feel that it's 'peppy'? I would definitely do something like this for the gains for that low cost, but I'm not seeing it here.Installed AirRaid 310-360 air intake and the RC throttle body spacer. They were easy to install and certainly make the jt more peppy. It also adds a very nice growl when accelerating! I got it off amazon for $180(ish) which is WAY cheaper than from any where else.

I dont really have any way to quantify the “peppy” feeling it has after the install, i just noticed it during my drive. I do know that my wife, who rarely drives the truck, got it and said it was a little more responsive. The best I can do is watch my mpg and see if it goes one way or another. I average 16mpg with my 35sI'm curious what this really adds to performance. The specs state a gain of 12 HP @ 5700 RPM. IMO that's a tiny HP increase at high RPM's. How do to feel that it's 'peppy'?
