I know all the queuing and scheduling is computer software driven, but it makes me wonder if their software scripts after so many days of not being able to queue and build an order, it basically says "fuck it" and cancels the order?
im 99% sure this is what happened to my order

It's either that or sneaky sinister. Accounting or banking or someone's bonus depends on fulfillment, cancel the order and re-enter and poof... the metrics look different. As long as no one looks deeper or follows the audit trail, which often gets overlooked.

One way or the other, it's a serious bummer. We just want our Jeeps.
At a personal level, I can see how it seems sinister when everybody else is getting their toys and not you. I just think it is the law of averages and randomness that someone has to take it in the shorts and it is your turn in the barrel. Mine maybe tomorrow on something else.

I work in Aviation Manufacturing and we deal with like issues all the time. Just the big difference is the product is high enough cost that the threat of a cancelled order will get somebody off their ass to go fix issues like you are having. FCA though it seems would rather piss off the one off customer here or there.

Well, I don't think it's sinister directly related to me. More like someone's using creative accounting to further their own ends. It might not be of course, it could be completely innocent but equally screwed up.

Just a matter of the how of you being right. They've taken the calculated risk that they're likely to alienate some customers and lose them with the thought that whatever efficiency they've gained will outweigh it. Conceivably accurately so.

I'm just going to make them right. I'd hate to disappoint them and buy one anyways.

All of this is moot given a very simple thing... get my truck in production next week. I'll be simply unhappy with how I was treated and on a timeline to maybe have enough time to take the roof off this year a day or two. It's the best I can hope for now.

If not, in a couple weeks I'll be tooling around in a big ass 450hp Raptor with a large sunroof, disappointed to not be shifting gears but doing everything I wanted to do with a sort of open roof and loving that horsepower. I'll get by. ;)

When it happened to me my VIN did not change at all, ultimately i was not going to wait another 10-12 weeks. I bought a auto off the lot had all my option minus floor mats (oh no lol) I put 35" Ko2's on it with my black rhino rims and it is great. I love it. its just not the stick
I did the same mine gets top my house in less then 4 hours

Just heard from the dealer. D1... no eta. I cant cancel today as the manager who can refund is on holidays until Monday. I think I am done. Gonna look at other things. Even test drived a Tesla. I mean if I am not buying a JT might as well buy the complete opposite!

Still waiting for the magical call from the dealership telling me mine has arrived, but just got my wheels and tires are coming Monday. Metal Cloak fenders are being mocked up and I have the $ waiting for those.

Question for the manual orders, are you guys planning on running 35s or 37s? Any plans to regear? My one fear with my manual is having to regear which I may be able to get away with not doing in an 8 speed. I really want 37s, wish the transmission still had the JK ratios.
Just ordered 35’s to start. I’m seeing a bunch of guys running 37’s but I tow and think before I go 37’s, will plan to regear.

I'll post to my garage, just wanted to say it has been in the shop for months, since may or june, I forget, waiting for the day I can drive my JT same as the rest of you waiting for your JT's.

Got the call to come grab her up today!

Sweating my ass off in the AZ heat, throwing gears on the column shifter. Fellas, she growls!

My 64 JT is in the wild again!

I had an estimated ship date of today but checked with Jeep Chat and I'm still in C, so yea that miracle did not happen.

Yeah, my ship date was yesterday. Checked today and I'm back in D1! Been bouncing between C, D, and D1 for 2 weeks now
