D Status = 5/13
D1 Status = 8/26

Dealer says it is scheduled to be built next week 9/9
The dealer also has a delivery date of 9/12 which I know isn't happening.

Seems like a lot folks on here have been given a build week of 9/9 so maybe that is encouraging.

Tired of waiting, but I am going to use it to my advantage when I go and pick it up.

What advantage is that?

That’s insanely fast. My dealer just let me know mine is off the line and waiting to be loaded on a train. The dealer anticipates it’ll take another 2-3 weeks, which works for me!

ORDERED: 07/19/19 Tentative Ship Date: 09/07.
STATUS: D on 08/05/19. D1 on 08/14/19. E on 09/05/19. F on 09/05/19 at 3:00 PM EST. G on 09/06/19.

I'm going to use in my negotiation. I've waited this long....I will walk away if they don't want to play ball.

I was the first one to order a non LE from them, plus I know I gave them a couple of sales once I posted about them honoring affiliate pricing.

They will tell.you to.pound sand! You made a deal.with them and expect them to keep up their end of the bargain......what does that say about you if you change the terms at the last minute?

Don't get too far ahead of yourself. You've got time. Based on the Granite LEs being built over the last two weeks, they are shipping about a week after the estimated ship date. Then Kent says it's 2-3 weeks transit to Nampa. You are probably looking at mid-October. My estimated ship date was last Friday, and mine was "JBR" yesterday, so still not ready to ship.

I didn't make any deal with them other than telling them yes I would like to order what is on the build sheet, and that they will at the very least honor my affiliate pricing. I'm not trying to bamboozle anyone...it's just negotiating.

We still have to work out the final trade in value for my trade-ins. I don't have to take the first number they gave me.

Let's remember they told me 6-8 weeks, and I have been more than patient. I have zero useful information on when the Steel Bumper issue was going to be resolved. I'm at 19 weeks and counting...and yes I get it. It's a new product and it can take time. I'm fine with that, but to not even provide a time frame is an issue with me.

I'm not asking for 20% under invoice or anything, but at least 5% like other dealers are offering, and a fair value for my trade-ins.

At the end of the day I know it's not the dealer's fault, but I am the end customer so at the end of the day someone has to make it up to me.

They are built at a factory and shipped to the store...Dealerships have zero control over that...

I bet if you were there when it arrives they will immediately process the paperwork so in and out of the store in less than a day...

It's cool though I'm guessing waiting a month was very difficult.

I just have patience, did not order early because of many holds on options..

knowing that new vehicles have growing pains just waited until all options that I wanted were not on restriction as to make the build smoother...

If you are not being kept in the loop on the JT then you should have someone at the dealership contacting you with status updates...usually the salesperson would do this on order outs...

I just contact the Jeep Chat once a week. The dealership did call me for the first time 2 weeks ago to let me know they have a delivery date of 9/12 which is false because I am still in D1 status if Jeep Chat has the latest info.

Trust me, I am patient.
