It’s nice to be able to remove these to fit car seats. I’m able to do so in my F-150. Could someone give it a try and let me know how easy it is?
Thanks.

I have tried to remove the rear seat headrest but can’t seem to take them off I would also like to know if you can remove them and what I am doing wrong if they do come off I just let the back seat down for more visibility but I had rather take the headrest off

why would you need to remove to fit car seats? There is a latch fitting behind the seat if you fold it forward and the head rest will fold down if you want the extra visibility.

I can tell you first hand that high back booster seats don’t always lay flat against the seat with some headrests installed.

I will look tomorrow but there should be a smaller flush detente button on the headrest arm that does not have the large button to lower the headrest...

lift the headrest, push in the small flush detente button and lift should come off just like the F-150 but I will confirm tomorrow.

Ah, mine are all grown and its been awhile since I've had to use one. Asking because I expect a grandchild pretty soon. Thanks

I can’t find a button like on the F150 to mash to remove the back head rest unless I am just missing it every other truck I have had the back head rest would come out that was the first thing I did when I bought a new truck

Funny, was just trying this today. I sure as heck couldn't get them out and I messed with them for 20 minutes.

A hacksaw might work to get them out

From those instructions it looks like only the middle headrest comes off on the back seats. You’d probably have to take the seats apart & permanently remove them on the 2 outer ones.
