I installed the 1.5 daystar in the front only.....and it looks to sit perfectly level and I measured from the bottom of the fender.....and it was dead even front and rear....I think the rear is to keep the factory rake as some mentioned. I may have measured wrong but it looks good to me....I may add the rear later when I plan to tow more

Did you re-use the factory isolators or leave them out?

I took them out....the daystar spacer has 2 barbs on the top that fit perfectly in 2 holes on the top of the spring pertch to lock it in place...I wanted it to "lock" into place perfectly...not sure if it would matter that much with the tension of the spring pushing on it....but the directions do not intend to leave the factory islolater in....plus I am very happy with the wheel gap....I'm not a fan of huge wheel gaps a lot of trucks have.....must be the hot rodder in me....hence why I think the mopar lift is to high for 35's and should be ran with 37's

My kit arrived with .75” rear spacers, and some unadvertised 2” rear shock spacers. Two days later, a set of 1.5” spacers arrived in the mail. I don’t know if the first set was an error they realized, or what.
Mine just showed up today but it came with 3/4” rear spacers as well. Guess I’ll be making a call Monday morning

I emailed Daystar and they said that the 2” kit is 2” in front and 1.5” in the back.
I was looking to lift the front 2” but the back only a little, like .75” to keep it from being too high in the front and close to level. Don’t really want to buy the 2” kit and the rear .75” kit. May just go with 1.5” front only kit.
This is all temporary until I pull the trigger
On a full suspension lift which will be a
Few years down the road

If I do a 1 1/2” inch front level do I def need to have an alignment done? I am thinking yes...

Is it the consensus to do the 1 1/2” day star if I am only doing the front or go to 2”?

I have always used rough country before on trucks.

I am running 35’s

It is my opinion that store-bought alignments are overrated and overpriced. Your Jeep’s toe-in is not affected by lifting, only the steering center. The castor is not adjustable unless you go with adjustable arms. Recenter your steering yourself and you’re all set. Mine only required 1/4 turn with the 2” lift.

Morning everyone. Wanted to get some input here. So, my Sport S has been at the shop since yesterday getting the Daystar 2" kit and 35" Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Mechanic just called me to let me know everything is installed they are just waiting for the alignment. While we were talking he mentioned that when "making a sharp turn" there is a bit of rubbing on the air dam on the front. I assume he means at full articulation. I haven't seen it yet so I am just guessing. My question is, should that be happening with the Daystar 2" kit?? I was under the impression that with the 2" lift that wouldn't be an issue with 35"s? I don't mind taking off the plastic air dam piece but I just didn't think that was an issue after the lift. Thanks!

You probably can just trim the air dam with a dremel tool or a razor knife. Probably no need to remove the air dam. Did you remove the plastic bumper trim that is specific to the Sport bumper?
