I'm sorry, but it needs armored doors, and then a beefed up suspension for the additional weight

Am I the only one here that is less than impressed? What does this have that we can’t already do to our Gladiators through the aftermarket? How about some drivetrain upgrades?
Look at the second set of photos, notice the 8 bolt wheels, they aren’t there because it looks cool.

That is a graphic rendering, not a photo.

Although I would expect that ultimately those will have 3/4ton rear ends under them to support armor, weapons mounts, crew, gear, fuel, etc.

It looks neat but there is no way these will be implemented en masse to the military. We just spent billions on crappy JLTVs to replace some of our aging HMMWV fleet and I’m sure the DoD has their nuts in a vice to keep purchasing JLTVs until Oshkosh releases their next dumpster fire of a light tactical vehicle for the government to throw money at.

First one is Sport trim....
Second one is a Rubicon....

There might be several Military versions...
Light duty, more transportation tasks, and heavy duty with more modifications.

I'm not sure either of these would be used in direct combat with their current configuration.

But it is cool to see...

Interesting how in most cases, Military versions come first and filter down to civilian versions..
Just the opposite in this case...

Where's the 50-Cal in the bed? Or would that draw unnecessary attention from Law Enforcement?

The trucks that were on the auto show circuit back in January-march were Gobi- its less yellow than these pictures.
Yeah, think you are correct. Also looks like a matte finish as well.

Now I want the Matte Yellow Gobi!

Nobody mentioned the Black Rhino-esque wheels yet! Sign me up!

Anybody know if those wheels are actually made now and by whom?
The Black Rhinos are based on HMMWV wheels, so since AM General makes HMMWVs and this, I would assume they're at least very similar.
