I am no longer seeing the Max Tow Package available on the Jeep building tool. Neither is the 4.10 axel an option, except as standard on the Rubicon. Both the mobile site and desktop site have it that way

Any news on this?

ETA: still available on the Sport model. But isnt the Sport S just the Sport with a 24S package? Every “Sport S” I have seen at dealers had window sheets as Sport and a 24S package in the “extras” section

The factory is probably currently out of stock on the axles. The dealer should still be able to select it when they build it in their system as a "sold order".

Wouldnt they just add time to the build/delivery time to make that happen rather than losing a sale?

I seriously doubt it is gone--Jeep would never want to lose their claim of "best-in-class towing".

Talked to my Jeep dealer. They had to cancel all orders for tow package models. Direct orders from headquarters

ETA: they still can claim best in class towing with Rubicon model

Guess that makes mine a rare Jeep. Glad I ordered when I did.

Surplus of Rubicons maybe? Stop offering it on the Sport/S and try and drive that business to the Rubi's with some discounts until the excess are sold?

Oh wow... glad I was able to get one if they're really discontinued... but it seems really weird for them to discontinue the package only a few months into production unless something is up.
