I was told there’s a bulb that takes the place of the reverse light bulb and is 700ish lumes
Sending these back and not happy I’d like as bright as I can. It’s not headlight revolutions fault FCA just switch her up tail lights
Here’s what they said should work as direct bulb replacements
https://headlightrevolution.com/gtr-lighting-armor-series-7440-7443-led-bulbs/
just to clear up confusion on my end.. what are you sending back due to not being happy?

Are you getting the ones in the link you sent or are those the ones you are sending back?

It’s not unhappy just wrong part no ones fault. The link to just a bulb is what I’m going to get next

EDIT: EMERGENCY, DON'T STAR TREK Anton Yelchin yourself. If you want to take photos of the reverse lights, make sure you pull up hard on the ebrake if you leave it in reverse, or better yet, have your wife stay in vehicle with ebrake on, ready to step on real brake, if it moves (otherwise you get red brake light in your photos). I almost Darwined myself because the truck started going backwards because I didn't yank the ebrake hard enough.:lipssealed::asshat::whew:

Okay, so originally I bought the 3 inexpensive amazon LED bulbs thatq were mentioned on like page 1-3, one of those bulbs was this,
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07H6YPB8N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This was intended for the DRL, but i didn't realize my sport s has no DRL. Oh well they were only like $17.

THEN, i saw somebody post these for backup lights.
https://headlightrevolution.com/2018-jeep-wrangler-jl-led-reverse-bulbs-1000-lumen/

so i went to that page and read this, "These bulbs labeled "7440" and will fit any 7443, 7444, 7505 bulbs style housings. They will fit any housing (DRL, fog light, reverse light, etc...) that is sized between 23mm - 29mm in opening diameter."

So i went to amazon to buy new 7440 bulbs and realized, SHIT, I ALREADY BOUGHT SOMEm :whatsgoingon:. Those DRL bulbs are 7440.

Go out to my JT and take the reverse bulb out..........LMAO:CWL:, no way that 7440 will fit. Look at the bulb and see a 921 on the bulb, google search and find these from same manufacturer.

They just arrived 45 mins ago and now you can see all 3 side by side.

i put em in and they look like they'll be bright AF! But its still daylight out.:sun: AND NO BLINKING, AND I DON'T HAVE A TAZER OR ANY ELECTRONIC DO DADS OR MOMS.

Directions to take headlights out. Take these two small (I think 8mm) bolts out
20191026_162249.jpg

BE CAREFUL TO SLOWLY SLOWLY PRY THE TAILIGHT HOUSING TO THE SIDE UNTIL YOU SEE THE RETAINING CLIP. My tint guy snapped one and i don't think it affected anything, but still.....
20191026_162318.jpg

use a screwdriver to push it out of the way, then tailight can move about an inch or two laterally.

BUT DON'T PUSH ANY FARTHER!!!
Tailight has 2 nubs that push into the box, so you need to slowly pull rearward on housing until it just pops out. See 2 nubs in photo. one silver one black. pull down on the red wiring connector lock, then push down on black release lever, separate housing and short wire harness from rest of wiring, now you can replace the bulbs without scratching your box.
