You probably can just trim the air dam with a dremel tool or a razor knife. Probably no need to remove the air dam. Did you remove the plastic bumper trim that is specific to the Sport bumper?
No, I haven't removed anything yet. Was waiting until I go pick it up to see exactly what he is referring to.

All done! I love it! There hasn't actually been any rubbing. Mechanic said he thought he "felt" it but may have just been the more aggressive treads on the ridge grapplers. There's still seems to be a decent amount of space in there and I don't see or feel any rubbing even at full articulation. Will keep an eye on it!

I really like the looks of those 35 x 12.5 on the factory wheels.

Anyone else who has installed the Daystar kit and 35's notice any vibration at highway speeds upwards of 70MPH? It's not awful, but definitely noticeable compared to pre-lift ride. I'm wondering if they didn't properly balance one or more the tires.

I’d suggest it’s the balancing. I’m running the same lift and 37” Ridge Grapplers and mine is very smooth.

Have any pics of your JT? I am getting 17” zephyrs and 37” mastercraft mxt put on later this week and want to see what kind of space I’ll have if I were to go daystar or if I should just get a 2” coil lift?

The Daystar spacers are intended to replace the factory insulators. What I'm saying is I reused my factory ones plus the Daystar ones. I didn't realize this until after the fact and it resulted in me getting a 1/2 inch more lift than the kit intended. It's fine though. I like it.
How did you orientate this? Factory then daystar spacer or daystar spacer then factory isolator?

Have an issue installing the 2" lift, lower control arm bushings are not the correct size, too small inner diameter. What a pain had to put everything back stock.

You could have just run the stock control arms until you got the bushings worked out. I’m surprised you had an issue. They are the same control arms they have been using with the JL for over a year. Are you saying that the bushings were too small, and didn’t fit snugly into the metal tube, or the inner part of the bushing was too small and the metal sleeve wouldn’t press in?

The stock bolts will not fit into the control arm sleeves. I cannot even get the bolts started into the sleeves thinking that maybe i could tap them in.
