Probably going to be installing mine this weekend, what length did you guy end up with your track bar being at? How close was the 34" the instructions recommended?

I already had a Teraflex Alpine IR bar on mine so I just made it to the same length. During my install, it lined up just right and my axles are still centered. I don’t remember what the length was but can try to get out there tomorrow and see

If I can find a measuring tape (I am not home for a while) I can measure mine.

Ok this may sound dumb, but for the rear trackbar on reassembly you should just reconnect it correct? The instructions don't say anything about it. I'm assuming same torque spec as the front?

I’m pretty sure it was one of the last steps. It’s the last thing you connect

I mustve gotten a misprint then,
There was also bolts listed the incorrect size to what the instructions referenced, and no mention anywhere of the rear trackbar.
I guess better to have all my parts correct and botched instructions than vice versa.
Everything's all together and torqued down though.
Another question: what kind of grease are you guys using in your quicker disconnects? Also no such mention of that in the instructions. I was thinking a good moly-graphite grease for it.

Another random issue that popped up about 20 miles after driving, my service electronic stability control light came on.
I can only assume it's getting wigged out by the wheel speeds not being what it expects them to because I haven't gotten it aligned yet and the steering wheel is slightly canted when driving straight so the computer expects the wheel speeds to be different.

They state to use marine grade grease my instructions and I confirmed that on the phone. I used the Lucas Marine Grease from Home Depot. I had no issues with my esc. You may want to call JKS. They were great when I had questions about the install.

I got everything installed fine, just alarming how messed up my instructions were. I may not have done jeep suspensions before but i've worked on alot of heavy duty military equipment suspensions, everything is similar enough. As for the ESC I'm almost 100% sure I just need an alignment to fix it. Right now my steering thinks the wheels are turned 4 degrees to drive straight. The ESC will get triggered if it thinks one of the wheels is moving to fast or too slow for the angle you're turning. It's not terrible, I'll wipe the code after I get it aligned and it should fix itself.

All you need to do is center your steering wheel. It’s done by loosening a single 15mm head pinch bolt on the drag link, adjusting the collar, and tightening that bolt back up. No need to pay a bunch of money to a shop.

I'll be sure to do that, got chased out of the auto shop on base because it was closing time when I finished.
On the bright side, in the about ~20 miles of driving I did after install tonight, it felt much better in corners than the factory suspension.

You are right. I forgot about that. I did my own “alignment” before pulling out of the garage. My instructions did mention that the esc will fault if you don’t straighten your steering wheel.
I’m only trying to help by sharing my experience. Here is a beautiful layout for doing an alignment on a Jeep.
