Knowing the character for both Bush and Obama, they wouldn’t have told hospitals to find their PPE on the free market. Then two weeks later publically shame 3M for selling PPE to other countries, and mandating they couldn’t sell outside of the US. Bush and Obama also wouldn’t have told hospitals in NYC that they didn’t need the amount of ventilators they were asking for, then 1.5 weeks later publicly shame General Motors that they were late to the game and needed to hurry up and make ventilators. I voted for the guy and I’m absolutely embarrassed that I did.

lastly, the whole stunt about the CDC recommending everyone to wear face masks... and him saying that he wasn’t going to do it. What happened to leading by example? I’m sure he will be wearing one by May. Actually if he isn’t..... I actually wouldn’t be that surprised...
You really think ole' Prescott Bush's offspring would have done a better job? He's the one who allowed the Federal Reserve to be born, and created the MIC, and allowed all of it to be a profiteering racket for the Rothschilds...

Oh, and Mr. Soetoro who bends over for every world leader, and gives away $400 Billion in [untraceable CASH] to terrorist counties that hate us, would have done a better job???

That's hilarious!!! And I'm not even Trump's biggest fan, or saying that he handled it well. But nobody could have done any better under the circumstances...NOBODY on this earth. It was biological warfare that nobody saw coming.

Classic, but slightly surprised. I actually expected something less ignorant.
I'm actually not as dumb as you think as I am...It happens a lot in my life, since I'm from the South...We always get underestimated because of how we talk. I like being underestimated...It's allowed me thrive, especially when I pull that rabbit out of the hat. :like:

I don’t think you are dumb, just a little ignorant to the topic.

not sure how you talk, if it’s southern, we probably sound the same.

I don't like to get personal on the interwebz. Let's keep it civil.

sorry disagree with you on the CON’s. CON’s are in place so that little pop-up facility’s abs imaging centers don’t come in and take away all easy money making cases and studies. They would get the imaging done, then the patient would go to the hospital and the Hosptial wouldn’t be able to bill for anything. CON’s are to protect hospitals running to the point where they can be profitable. Otherwise you have have MRI and CTs done at gas stations with equipment that was end of life.
I disagree, Hospitals would have to compete for services, therefore lowering prices for us. And if you think hospitals only bill for imaging therefore wouldn’t be able to charge for anything if xrays were taken elsewhere you need to look at a hospital bill. Because they know they are the only game in town they charge you and your insurance whatever they want because you have to pay it.

Nope not how it would work. Small imaging centers would take business away from larger hospitals and they wouldn’t be able to stay open. This happens in rural communities all the time... they struggle to be profitable.

it’s the same thing with PCPs and doctors visits now... they are paid by quantity... and what happens to quality? Same thing with imaging, not all X-rays, CT and MRIs are created equal. Would you want to have a study done that’s in standard designation (480p) Or 4K? That’s the difference in quality... which is directly proportionate to outcomes.

And you, as the consumer, would have the choice to go where they have 4K imaging. With certificate of need laws, your choice is taken away from you.

@danielspivey Ok now do the numbers fo N1H1. That should be fun.
Not that hard to do...
“By April 2010, one year after the first cases, the CDC estimated that about 61 million Americans caught the H1N1 flu and 12,500 died. It is now considered one of the less severe pandemics in history, with a death rate of 0.001% to 0.007%.

Johns Hopkins University researchers project the U.S. death rate for the coronavirus at about 1.2%. If a projected 40% of the population is sickened, that would mean more than 1.5 million deaths without any suppression measures”.
