Installed my console organizer and my fire extinguisher holder.

Then I looked up the max storage temp for my Lowe’s auto fire extinguisher and it says 120 degrees.

Well.....living in Vegas I park outside a lot in the summer. There are always yahoos leaving their pets, or worse kids, in the car where they die of heatstroke so I started looking for info and found that the direct sun on a dashboard can get as hot as 157 degrees.

My windows came lightly tinted from the dealer and my hothead headliner is on its way but paranoia set in about the the thing exploding and a hole in the side of my JT......so I strapped the whole thing to the jack under the seat to keep it in further from the hot roof and away from the sun.

Apologies if this should be its own thread but am I being overly cautious?

May want to consider looking into these https://elementfire.com/ . This is the route I am going and you can carry many more in smaller space.

Don't cancel, you’ll regret it. The top is awesome, not to knock spiderwebshade but this is top notch.

Call and talk to them today before you cancel, the owner will tell you where you are in line. A lot of spouses work at a cookie factory that had an outbreak and were quarantined
For 2 weeks.

Didn’t even know they were making a bicentennial plate. Might have to consider that as I’m due to re-register in May. I kept my old wrangler plates when I registered the Gladiator.

Installed ARB locker switches into my center dash. Cut the plastic out with a rotary tool. The switches are actually front and rear locker. They are mislabeled, i ordered new switch covers from ARB. The pump is wired to always come on for now. I will add an isolation switch in the future.
