I think I’ve said this before, but I really really like the paint and decals you’ve got goin on. There’s something “vintage” or “70’s” about it. Like maybe Daisy Duke should be in the pic. Or even 2005 Jessica Simpson.
Thanks. I think...should I be wearing short shorts? Haha. Let's hope not.
Exactly what I was going for, though. The truck, not the shorts

Here you go. Sorry not the best shots. Debated whether to go black or paint match on the hardtop and my dealer was willing to swap.
At the time was thinking about getting the Mopar soft top for summer but I just can’t get over the look of it fully open.

Thank you.
That looks better than I would've thought. I think i can do it. Is it crazy loud at 70mph?

Yeah, the soft tops and that man bun look...no thanks. I gave up on soft tops years ago. Too much noise and I do t like the look with four doors. The jt might have been an option if it wasn't so goofy looking.

Interesting - how long have you had this installed and how has it held up? I don't know much about the air lift stuff, would this result in any limitations when going offroad at all?

Also, cool video, thanks for documenting all that! Annnd awesome Jeep! :jk:
Hey, thank you!
It's only been on a month and I haven't really been offroad with it, but it was only $90 and there weren't any good options that would take out the 1/4 inch sag that was left after swapping coils. I dont forsee any issues because with 5lbs or so of air, they don't move around.
Racecar guys have used them for decades to keep the rear end from squatting when taking off.

The Sunrider is surprisingly quiet even at 70mph. Only slightly more noisy than the full hardtop with Freedom Panels.
Had soft tops on my last 2 JK’s and much noisier than the Sunrider on the JT for sure. I would love an after market version of the soft top less the man bun though.

I think he used the 1.5" Teraflex spacers in the front and the 3/4" Daystar spacers in the rear.
Have the Teraflex 1.5” leveling kit up front and Daystar 3/4” spacers for the rear only. When I have weight in the bed it sort of maintains the level front to rear if that makes sense.

Thanks guys. Apparently I have a deficit for reading comprehension, as you clearly stated that above.

That setup is really good looking. Everyone keeps going 12.50s but the 10.50s on 35s look really good! Just when I think I have a new tire figured out I see this!!!! I like the tuck looked so I might have to go the same route.

Nuts, was hoping you had a solution I wasn’t aware of.

I’ve done something similar with rope & pulleys and two side loops to the link in your post, but it’s a bit unstable and keeping both sides in sync was challenging both up and down. I have chains on each corner that safely / “permanently “ hold the platform up until I want to lower it. I’m now trying to create something with cable on all four corners to a ring, then to a wall mounted electric or hand winch. Harbor Freight winch is on sale for $79 right now. I really like this storage idea so that freedom tops and other Jeep items are safely stored up out of the way. Not sure when I’m actually going to try this new idea. My top is safely stored fir now.

here is a video a guy posted on YouTube that is very similar to what we are trying to do. It’s 33 minutes long so you can fast forward through the platform build till he gets to his cable system. This is what I was thinking, cable to all four corners to a central point, but was having trouble getting enough cable distance to reach floor and get to ceiling. His “reversal“ pulleys for two of the corners, solved my concern. His system is a bit overkill, but great. This system would also work with a manual winch.

Awesome! Thanks for Sharing!

I'll have to spend some time studying it to get mine set up. I like overkill.... I am currently parking my Z4 under the suspended platform.

Added a lot of cheap but functional things today (totally under $400):
Tyger cover, Curt hitch receiver, cheap bike rack (that actually seems really solid though, I’m impressed. An anti wobbling plate and screw are provided, we’ll see how it does on the road), and some protection on the entry sills.

Pixel decal came in today. I think I’ve accomplished the goal of breaking up all the red:
