That's not a Sport bumper. You don't have the wings between the bumper and fender that causes the tire obstruction. Even with a 2+" lift these will need to be removed. Of course, also a good excuse for a new bumper.

Yes I meant aside from the bumper it is stock. You can get the steel bumper on your new JT sport I thought

315’s here. My buddy got a new Raptor and put 37”s on it. I benefit with the 315 take offs for hardly any money. No lift, stock wheels. Love it.

Steel bumper on a Sport is a dealer option, not a factory option. To my knowledge you can only order a Rubicon with the steel bumper directly from Jeep.

Here the BFG 317's on my JT Sport with a 2" front and .75" rear lift:

I put about 200 miles on the tires immediately after driving out of the shop. I am very impress with how quiet the tire is, does not drive anywhere near as aggressive as it looks. It's exactly what I was looking for. I am running at 34 psi right now but I think the sweet spot is closer to 30.

Even with the lift, we had to remove the bumper wings, so no way these fit on a stock JT SPORT without bumper modification.
what are the specs on your wheels? The biggest issue I have is seeing what the real world result will be of different backspacings. online calculators only do so much.

I am running ProComp 7031's in 17x9 with a -4 offset (4.75" backspacing). I have about 1" of tire sticking out past the fender.

Oh that's great to know. Bc I was looking at some pro comp with -8 and was worried it would be a mess. 1" is fine.

What mystifies me is they say the change from 18x7 (or 7.5 if it is) with +44 to 17x9 with -8 results in like almost 3" more poke. But you're obviously not even close to +3" from stock.

Oh gee...tires/wheels is my biggest issue. I don't have my Gladiator yet. I want 35s in a C or D tire. I'll probably go with the Goodyear Duratracs in 315/70/17. Supposedly they measure 12.8 inches wide. I'm so paranoid that my tire/wheel combo will stick out too far. Gotta pass my inspection here in Pennsylvania, but I want to look good too!
The guys picture above...that would probably be fine for me. Looks like an inch poke out?

I wish I could just tell someone my setup idea and get a response on how much the tire will stick out.
