I am trying to decide on what adjustable track bar to get. I have a 2in spacer lift and want to make sure my front end is re centered.

I am looking at two options that are close to one another in price. I just dont know enough about them to really make an educated decision.

This one was suggested by my jeep guy. He specifically noted the "forged currie johnny jointon" which may as well be greek to me as far as my understanding.

This one is from quadratec and its the JKS adjustable one.

My concern is what exatly does the johnny joinon do? will it have any notable effect on steering in that it will allow more movement? This truck is really just for the beach and for towing so Im not as interested in the off road features at this point. Hopefully ill get back to wheeling later in life but its just not in the cards for now.

any help would be amazing! Ill be googling for a while but would like to get one of them ordered today.

after watching a couple videos the johnny joint is an interesting little invention. My curiosity is does it transfer more road noise to the steering that say a standard joint.

Track bar doesn’t have a lot of movement just around town so you just need something that doesn’t flex like factory. On control arms you may notice a difference.

I have no experience with the Core 4x4, I have run both front and rear JKS in the past on a JKU.
JKS is good quality stuff.

Take a look a Synergy Mfg also they have a real good rep in the industry.

Just make sure that the minimum adjustment on the trackbar you choose will support a lift of 2" -- Most seem to start at 2.5" which means at the shortest setting, you will still be about 1/8" off center. I went with a Poison Frog product.

A good tip for front LCA's is to buy the Mopar fixed length arms from the 2" kit. You can source these for around $40 each.

I ended up going with the core 4x4. Really the only reason was that it was available today to ship, and the JKS wouldn't ship until august.

I ran the rough country one on my JK and it was solid and it adjust on the jeep. I vote either it or the yetti because either one adjust in the jeep. Wing nuts suck. I ran the Rock Krawler adjustable before the Rough Country and was a PITA the get tight and to adjust.

Steer Smart Yeti XD. Can adjust it on the jeep. Whichever one you pick, make sure its for 0” to X” inches of lift A lot of track bars start at 2” of lift and can end up being too long vs a small lift set up.
