I could be wrong, but I think when the Gladiator was released, the brakes were improved over that of the JL. I think that the Mopar Big Brake is an upgrade for the JL and maybe not the JT. I also could be totally wrong.

Yeah , we confirmed the stock fronts have the same part numbers as the JL however the rear do not. Anyways, I guess its back to the search engines to find a better option.

Installed the Smartliner last night. Perfect fit; heavy, flexible, rubber; tacky and somewhat soft. Not sure how it would hold up to sharp-corner, heavy, loads; but that is not my hauling profile anyway. I typically have my mountain bike, a few gas cans, oversized boxes, or mulch from the local big box store. Only issue is closing the tailgate. The raised rear lip rubs the tailgate when closing so I have to reach in and lift the edge of the mat up an inch or so to keep the tailgate from folding the edge of the mat under. It's not a big issue, but if it continues to bother me, I'll either trim off the raised rear edge or I'll try a piece of teflon tape on the mat which would allow it to slide on the tailgate.

What is the advantage of something like this over just going Line-X? Is it just less cost?

this one is (vinyl) is water resistant... driven it a few times during a shower and both the front and back seats stay pretty dry. wouldn't want to leave it parked out side during a storm because water can definitely get in the back (by back head rest) but all in all pretty decent when driving in the rain.. just wanted a solution to keep my hard top-off... working great so far

Going to put it in the drive way today. Maybe leave the dealership w/ slush mats. Not worthy of posting pictures yet. Already have some accessories purchased, exterior mounted mirrors when the doors are off, sill guards, and Curt bluetooth trailer controller. Looking forward to having a Jeep again. 6th one from 42 to 2003.

I have the WeatherTech bed liner, which is very similar. Like yours, it too covered the drains in the bed, which makes no sense to me. I don’t want to potentially have water pooled in the bed, so I put holes in the floor of my liner, right over the drains. Something to consider...

Adjusted the passenger side front door. My hard top is noticeably louder than my JK hard top was. I took it in and got the typical, it’s a Jeep thing response. They all do that, blah, blah, blah. I even pointed out that it’s clearly louder on the passenger side than the driver’s side. I pointed out that there’s no way that you could see what I’m talking about unless someone sits on the passenger side. Anyway, I’ve been studying the door seals and trim and stuff looking for anything different on the passenger side. I couldn’t find anything except the passenger side front door isn’t adjusted quite flush with the body like the drivers side. It’s about 1/8” out from flush and the drivers side is about 1/8” in. I adjusted them the same and the striker for the latch in a little bit too. The door still closes easily, but feels a little more solid when you close it.

I haven’t driven it on the hwy yet, it normally gets loud over 65 mph, but I hope it helps and I don’t have to take it back to the dealership again with likely no results.

Edit: I just read a thread on here about Freedom panel alignment. I noticed that my passenger side panel was slightly further back than the driver’s side so I adjusted the latch. They are even now. None of this can hurt so fingers crossed.

I've never, ever spent more than $100 on a fog or driving light outside of some Corrado VR6 Euro-headlights from back in the day.

I hear you on that! Been there done that...a couple times. But are definitely the best Headlights for Corrados.

Its still loud on the hwy, but its better. You can't hear the noise from the passenger side any louder and people can hear me better when I use to bluetooth on the interstate. Now, its probably how its supposed to be from the factory. The poor aerodynamics and lack of a headliner definitely come into play.

Damn that blue looks bad ass with the SG. I have been wanting to do an accent with mine. I’m thinking of a navy blue or a yellow similar to the Hella Yella. Yours is awesome!
