I propose the following “Wave Guidlines” because I do find it fun to be part of the ‘imaginary club’ but at the same time I’m too lazy to pay attention to every Wrangler and JT on the road.

-Waves only apply to qualified vehicles in the oncoming lane next to yours as long as the median of the road is less than the size of a lane on the existing road.​

-Waving or responding to a wave during a turn should not be expected.​

I’m sure there could be more but I’m kinda too lazy to think about it any more.

lol... I was at work & monitoring others doing their thing.. And well.. It was making me wanna kick puppies.. For real though what kinda youtube channel ya got. I am fairly certain your content would fall between entertaining & not interested.. I feel like your not going to be anywhere in the realm of my wanting to actually downvote as I am quite accustomed to just clicking the 3 dots & telling it "dont recommend this channel" and moving on with my life.

As for work, I know what you mean... I'm an inspector/on-site project manager/coordinator/liason for my company... Trust me, there's plenty of times I feel like I'm nothing more than a glorified babysitter watching the crews do work. And there's times you want to just walk up to them ask "WTF were you thinking when you thought this was a good idea??? Do I need to have you drug-tested?"

Yeah I wont get into details about what I do, but at the time I was observing a 2nd person for the day generally screwing off & avoiding doing what were paid to do. Its an easy job & stable even in the "rona economy" so it baffles me when people half ass it.

Maybe I'm coming from a different angle, but my kids love to wave at other Wranglers / Gladiators. We have a Jeep game where we yell out "Jeep!" every time we see a Wrangler / JT. It also helps to have a 10 and a 4 year old boy who are both very competitive.

Toledo resident here so the last stop on this discussion. Just kidding. But I've had this discussion with lots of Wrangler owners. They questioned whether or not they should wave to JTs and the consensus is you wave to acknowledge the "Jeep Life". Since I live in Toledo I see 20 on every trip so I don't wave unless waved to normally. But when the top is off or the doors are off (on mine or anyone else's) I wave to acknowledge the "Jeep Life". So in my book any Jeep you can't take the doors and top off and go adventuring gets no wave.

As a similar position holder, yeah Ive seen stupid and then Ive seen stupid. Ive often said I run a day care for grown ass men. Draw a simple child like sketch to explain the days work, mark it out with bright orange paint, layout the tools, equipment and supplies... and watch them fail. I often ask have you been drinking? Do you need to be?
