Did you buy all 3 skid plates? If so, did you have to drop the gas tank for that plate? Also, how were the instructions that came with it? They do not have instructions on their website.
I only bought the engine/transmission skid as that felt like the biggest vulnerability, since the Rubicon has skids under the other spots. So unfortunately, I can't speak to the gas tank part.

The "instructions" are really just a single diagram of how the bolts, washers, and nuts go together at the right spots, but not step-by-step. These skids are so easy to install that it's not missed too much, but I do think something more detailed would be much appreciated for folks like me who like to get it just right the first time and have no doubts.

Not everyone's cup of tea, but I added some color to the interior. I love it. Doing the tow hooks the same color.

It is amazing how different those two pictures look. One looks purple and one looks silvery blue.
Hard to trust pictures on the computer.

Nice! Do you have a side profile?
Thanks. I'll take a couple later when Im back out. I have to figure how to secure the extra slack from the stock light wires. I just kinda tucked everything under the inside of the bumper for now. It was a little more complicated then I thought. I had to take the metal plate off the stock bumper to remove the wires. The new kit nuts were so tiny from the fog light bracket holes it took me longer trying to get them on the back of the tiny bolts then it did to remove the stock bumper and put the new one on. All in all I'm really impressed for $350 shipped.

Yesterday I installed RedLine hood struts. I had a WestinWJ2 Full Length Bumper and a Smittybilt X2O
(10,000 lb) winch installed. Adding the Westin Bumper and Smittybilt lowered the front 1 1/4 inches and raised the rear 7/8 of an inch. Not sure of the weight of the winch (some places say 67 lbs, and Smittybilt says 99). I’m thinking the winch is 67 and the bumper is 115 lbs, for total of +/- 182 lbs.
Have only driven a few miles home (in the rain). Not totally sure, but I think it felt somewhat different in handling. Question...should I (do I need) lift the front a little?
Oh, I’ll be changing to black shakles, etc.

I was wondering this too on my rock krawler front bumper I just put on. I noticed the weight difference and it felt good and more grounded but I haven't parked on a flat surface yet to see if lowered my front end. When I get my willco tiregate and 35" spare I'm sure that will lower my rear end too. I'm running a 3.5" lift BTW.
